The outer housing further includes an interface seal within the cavity. The interface seal is configured to engage the plug end of the mating connector assembly during a mating operation to seal an interface between the connector assembly and the mating connector assembly.

    Abstract: An electrical connector includes a housing and a connector position assurance (CPA) element. The CPA element includes a beam that is deflected from a blocked position to a clearance position by a mating connector that is loaded into a cavity of the housing. When the beam is in the blocked position, movement of the CPA element from an extended position to an inserted position is mechanically blocked by a protrusion of the housing that abuts the beam. The beam of the CPA element, when moved to the clearance position, clears the protrusion to allow the CPA element to move from the extended position to the inserted position. The housing may include a pair of such deflectable beams, each with a slot having an opening at its distal end. The opening of one of the beams aligns with the protrusion when the beam is deflected to its clearance position.

The cross-grooves intersect the grooves to define multiple raised panels along the outer surface.

    Abstract: Improvements to external stents to render incompetent venous valves competent are disclosed. The device is an inelastic bio-compatible cuff that encircles the venous valve cusps decreasing the internal diameter of the vein wall to allow apposition of the cusps and create competence. The improvements over previous designs include the addition of calibrated known diameters to create competence for different phenotypes. The different diameters are indicated by holes in the body. The buckle attachment allows the body of the device to become conical or inverted to become pyramidal as appropriate. The buckle is wider than prior art designs to allow the device to become elliptical at smaller diameters. The angle of the notches in the device are approximately 150 to allow better overriding at the sapheno-femoral junction which allowing for better competence of the valve.

    Abstract: This disclosure describes a multiple channel dichroic color mixing system or gobo that is comprised of three standard filters, one each of cyan, magenta and yellow, in combination with a fourth “multiband” optical filter with a spectral design that has multiple pass and blocking regions such that, by a suitable sequential combination of filters, the resultant transmitted light can be made to have enhanced color and intensity in the blue, green, and red portions of the color spectrum, without sacrificing the colors produced by combinations of the CMY filters that are commonly known in the industry. The “multiband” filter provides an optical solution with a single additional filter that, prior to this disclosure would require the addition of multiple single band filters, thereby increasing the mechanical complexity and overall cost of the color mixing device.
