Abstract: A molecular dissociation apparatus and method for the dissociation of target molecules into two or more different molecules, atoms, ions, and/or radicals by alternately constructively or destructively interfering with the target molecule's frequency of vibration until its threshold frequency is reached. According to the present invention, there is provided a molecular dissociation apparatus comprising a reaction chamber comprised of a reaction vessel having a reaction space; sensing means operably connected to the reaction chamber; an oscillating electrical source; an oscillating magnetic field generating assembly for imparting an electromagnetic, usually infrared frequency, pulse to a target molecule within the reaction space; an optional photon pulse emission system; and a controller operably connected to all other components for controlling operational parameters.
