Abstract: Generally described, the systems and methods disclosed in herein relate to sectioning an object with a frame-mounted wire saw as the step of a method for recycling fiber composite source objects, such as wind turbine blades. The frame-mounted wire saw generally includes a support frame assembly and a pulley system for directing an abrasive wire from a wire saw. A pair of slidable pulleys directs the abrasive wire through the object as the abrasive wire cuts. In some examples, the frame-mounted wire saw includes a mobility system to allow the assembly to travel along the length of the object and position the frame-mounted wire saw for the cut.
