  • Publication number: 20220351293
Abstract: A system for managing electronic trading, comprises an interface application including a mapping module that defines a plurality of controller signal relationships. Each controller signal relationship associates one or more of a plurality of game controller signals with one of a plurality of trading system commands associated with the electronic trading of financial instruments. The interface application receives a plurality of game controller signals generated by a game controller, and determines, based on the controller signal relationships, that one or more of the plurality of received game controller signals are erroneous. The interface application causes the communication of a command to lock the game controller based on the determination of the one or more erroneous game controller signals.

  • Patent number: 9849947
Abstract: A control system for a suspension system of a multi-hulled vessel, the vessel including a chassis portion, at least two hulls moveable relative to the chassis portion. The suspension system of the vessel provides support of at least a portion of the chassis above the at least two hulls, and includes adjustable supports and at least one motor to enable adjustment of a support force and/or displacement of the adjustable supports. The control system includes a fender friction force input for receiving at least one signal indicative of a friction force on a fender portion between a fixed or floating object and the vessel chassis portion, and in response to the fender friction force input, the control system is to adjust the support force and/or displacement between the chassis portion and the at least two hulls to reduce or minimize the friction force on the fender portion.

  • Patent number: 9782043
Abstract: A bathtub has a doorway in a sidewall thereof. A door is slidably mounted to guides on guide followers mounted to both the door and the guides. The guide followers carry the door along a substantially horizontal translation along the sidewall between open and closed positions. A releasable latch and cooperating latch actuator is mounted to the door for releasable latching engagement of the door when in a watertight sealed engagement in the doorway, and for releasing the door from such engagement upon actuation by a user of the latch actuator into its release position. A passive hydrostatic seal is mounted so as to be sandwiched between the door and the doorway doorframe when the door is closed.

  • Publication number: 20100285983
Abstract: The present invention describes optical discs on which polymer molecules can be analyzed. There is a method for determining a plurality of characteristics of a target molecule, the target molecule being localized on an optical substrate comprising pits and lands, comprising the steps of: (i) carrying out a series of reactions to interrogate different defined characteristics of the target molecule, wherein each of the reactions occurs in a distinct pit; (ii) treating the optical substrate to modify either those pits where a reaction has occurred, or alternatively, those pits where a reaction has not occurred, to alter the reflective characteristics of the pits; and (iii) measuring reflectivity within the pits, to thereby determine different characteristics of the target.

  • Publication number: 20090288248
Abstract: A bathtub system includes a tub having a substantially horizontal planar floor and contiguous endwalls and sidewalls extending upwardly from the floor. At least one sidewall has a door opening. A sliding door cooperates with the door opening. The sliding door is operable in a direction which includes a horizontal translation component between oppositely disposed open and closed positions. The door is slid between those positions by a horizontal force applied by a user sitting in the tub urging the sliding door horizontally. The door opening has a sill having an elevation which is both substantially equal to an elevation of the seat of a user's wheelchair and substantially at the same elevation as the floor of the tub so as to not interfere with the user of the tub transferring laterally from the seat of the wheelchair, over the sill, and onto the floor of the tub.
