Abstract: A steam dispersion apparatus configured to humidify a flow of air passing by the steam dispersion apparatus includes a steam dispersion tube configured to emit water in a vapor phase. The steam dispersion tube includes a longitudinal axis extending generally parallel to the direction of the air flow passing by the steam dispersion apparatus. The steam dispersion tube includes a steam exit. A turbulence inducing structure is located upstream of the steam dispersion tube with respect to the air flow, the turbulence inducing structure being configured to increase a velocity of the air that passes through the turbulence inducing structure.
