  • Publication number: 20190056707
Abstract: Example methods and systems for controlling operation of equipment are described. An example method for pausing operation of one or more of electrical and hydraulic systems of an equipment includes receiving, at a computing device having one or more processors, biometric data from a wearable biometric interface of a wearer, and based on the biometric data being outside of a range of baseline data, the computing device controlling operation of a power unit coupled to the equipment to pause movement of one or more components of the one or more of electrical and hydraulic systems of the equipment.

  • Patent number: 7924709
Abstract: An electronic token useable for controlling access to a resource is described. The token includes a token grantor identifier indicating a token grantor, a token grantee identifier indicating a token grantee, and a resource access control field. The resource access control field indicates control of additional limitations of token grantee access to a resource as specified by the token grantor. A method for generating and using the electronic token includes generating an electronic token based on a token grantee identifier, a token grantor identifier, and a resource access control field, wherein the resource access control field indicates control of additional limitations of token grantee access to a resource as specified by the token grantor. The electronic token is transmitted to a token grantee computer system. The token grantee computer system transmits the electronic token to a computer system controlling access to a resource requested by the token grantee computer system.

  • Patent number: 7568216
Abstract: The present invention is directed to methods for defining and naming iSCSI targets using volume access and security policy. In an exemplary aspect of the present invention, a method for defining an iSCSI target using volume access and security policy may include the following steps. One or more volumes of a network entity may be first mapped to an initiator. The mapping defines the unique Logical Unit Number for the volume to an initiator. Then, a security level may be defined for access to each volume accessed by the initiator. The subset of mappings for each initiator may be given any unique name. Next, the mapping and security subsets may be used to define the fully qualified targets with which the initiator may open a session.

  • Publication number: 20070118716
Abstract: A method of partitioning storage is provided. In an exemplary embodiment, the includes connecting at least one initiator with at least one target device. Upon connection of the at least one initiator with the at least one target device, at least one initiator-target association object may be created. The method may also include selecting at least one storage partition with the at least one initiator-target association object.

  • Publication number: 20060236594
Abstract: A microemulsion composition for treatment of pollution comprises a first component including any non-toxic, non-flammable surfactant known in the art for emulsifying fats and oils. The second component is a water soluble ester. The third component is a carbon containing non-toxic, non-flammable stabilizer for diluting the composition to a viscosity suitable for spraying or otherwise distributing the emulsion safely and evenly onto or into petroleum contaminated water. The emulsion is assimilated by the contamination such that hydrocarbon in the petroleum/water medium forms an agglomerated solid phase whereby the entire petroleum medium is physically separable from the water.

  • Publication number: 20060043033
Abstract: A device that is used for the stacking and orientation of handled containers that become unstable after being stacked one upon another. The device includes a platform that is equal or greater in size to the container, with a perpendicular projection located at the back of the base that rises to the approximate height of a plurality of containers. The frame acts like a spine for the containers by aligning the containers vertically and limiting their movement from side to side. The platform may include a plurality of projections that surround the container or containers, that also offer stability.

  • Publication number: 20050149748
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method and apparatus for identifying IPsec security policy in iSCSI. In an exemplary aspect of the present invention, a method for identifying IPsec security policy in iSCSI includes the following steps. An IP address may be allocated to a physical port of an iSCSI network entity. The physical port may include at least one TCP listening port. For a discovery session, the IP address may be statically allocated (or permanently leased). For a normal session, the IP address may be statically allocated or DHCP assigned. A TCP listening port associated with the IP address in an iSCSI portal may then be used to link a security policy on an IP connection with iSCSI configuration.

  • Publication number: 20020073175
Abstract: An exemplary storage system for maintaining content (e.g. a Web site) for a shared network (e.g. the World Wide Web) includes content servers (e.g. Web servers) and storage devices connected together in a storage area network (SAN). A production server is used to develop new data to update the content of the Web site. The production server distributes the new data through the SAN to the storage devices, bypassing the Web servers. The Web servers are not involved in transferring the new data, so the Web servers preferably remain primarily dedicated to servicing Web page accesses from users across the Web.

  • Patent number: 6361048
Abstract: A game board requiring strategy and providing the element of chance includes a playing surface having a fixed path section and a path altering section providing a route from at least one area to at least one finishing area and including a plurality of game piece positions along route determining placement of a number of game pieces. The playing surface overlies a king section having at least one actuator for moving the path altering section to a determined position based upon the outcome of a random number generator.
