  • Patent number: 8782968
Abstract: An interface apparatus between a tower and platform includes a tower support assembly with opposed angle brackets and a first tower support assembly coupler/decoupler which is repeatably moveable between coupled and decoupled conditions with the tower support assembly. In the coupled condition, the coupler/decoupler is capable of coupling to the tower support assembly at a plurality of predetermined positions along the opposed angle brackets. The interface apparatus includes a second tower support assembly coupler/decoupler which allows the tower to pivot relative to the tower support assembly and rotate relative to the platform.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 21, 2009
Date of Patent: July 22, 2014
Assignee: Atlas Copco Drilling Solutions LLC
    Inventor: James M. Benson
  • Patent number: 8413728
Abstract: A break-out assembly includes a slide wrench assembly, and a slide wrench rotator assembly which rotates the slide wrench assembly in response to actuating first and second rotator assembly cylinders. The first and second rotator assembly cylinders are actuated in opposed directions. The break-out assembly includes a clamp assembly having opposed arm assemblies which are rotatable about separate pivot points.

  • Publication number: 20080177595
Abstract: A method of standardizing provided services by categorizing the provided services into one or more functional disciplines; establishing a plurality of service maturity levels for each functional discipline; establishing a plurality of service maturity criteria for each serve maturity level; assessing the service maturity level for each functional discipline according to the associated service maturity criteria; advancing to the next service maturity level when the assessment achieves a predetermined level of success.

  • Patent number: 4964233
Abstract: A fishing signal and rod holder for positioning and holding fishing rods and reels for unattained fishing that signals the fisherman when a fish strikes the line. The rod holder includes a fixed angular inclined rod receptacle adjacent a signaling device to which the fishing line engages. The signaling device releases the fishing line during a strike and falls forward engaging a stop defining a sound signal.
