Abstract: A reaching and grabbing tool is provided. The tool includes a trigger assembly having a trigger and a handle. A jaw assembly is provided having at least one jaw operably connected to the trigger to move the at least one jaw. A hinge assembly is disposed between the trigger assembly and the jaw assembly, the hinge assembly being selectively lockable between an operating position and a folded position.

Abstract: Light bulb removing and installing assemblies are provided that can be easily configured for use with light bulbs different sizes and/or shapes. The assembly can include at least two different types of bulb holding devices that are removably connected to one another in a nested manner. The assembly can include bulb holding devices of different sizes that have an open bottom, which is removably connectable to a common base. The assembly can include a resilient finger holder and a common base, where the common base includes a number of upstanding, radially directed flexible members.

Abstract: Tools for cleaning surfaces are described. The tools include a pole having a first end and a second end with two bent segments. A head member assembly is coupled to the pole. The head member assembly includes a center head member coupled to the pole and having at least one tongue member extending from an end of the center head member. A first plurality of bristles extends from a surface of the center head member opposite the pole. An end module is removably coupled to the tongue member of the center head member and includes a second plurality of bristles positioned adjacent the first plurality of bristles. The second plurality of bristles includes a first portion of bristles that extend at a first angle relative to an end surface of the end module in a direction away from the pole.

Abstract: Cleaning devices are provided that have a surface with areas that provide different cleaning states. The areas of different cleaning states are connected to one another by a deflection member that provides tactile and/or audible feedback to the user when transitioning between the different cleaning states.

Abstract: A method of cleaning a surface is provided. The method includes providing a cleaning head, a housing, a pump, the pump having a port, the cleaning head having a nozzle, the cleaning head and housing being connected to one another. A cleaning element is attached with a first opening to the cleaning head so that the nozzle and the first opening are aligned. A refillable rigid container is provided having a cleaning fluid in the refillable rigid container. The port and the refillable rigid container are connected to form an air and fluid tight connection between the port and the container. The cleaning element is placed on a surface to be cleaned. The cleaning fluid is pumped from the refillable rigid container through the nozzle and the first opening onto the surface to be cleaned.

Abstract: A portable water conditioning system is provided that includes a water conditioner, a first sensor, a second sensor, and a controller. The water conditioner has a plurality of conditioning stages that condition water. The plurality of conditioning stages include, in a direction of flow of the water through the water conditioner, a reverse osmosis stage and a deionizing stage. The first sensor detects a first condition of the water before the reverse osmosis stage. The second sensor detects a second condition of the water after the reverse osmosis stage. The controller is in communication with the first and second sensors and determines a health status of the reverse osmosis stage based the first and second conditions. The first and second conditions each include a level of total dissolved solids of the water.

The dual ended handle comprises a pole with a first end and a second end, the first end having a first threaded fastener and an implement connecting feature having a tapered cone, the second end having a second threaded fastener and a locking member. A grip having a first end is configured to releasably engage at least one of the first threaded fastener or the implement connecting feature, and a second end configured to releasably engage the second threaded fastener.

Further, the device allows the user to secure the handle to an extension device for greater reach and cleaning range. Accordingly, the cleaning device allows for even increased reach and cleaning range, as well as allowing the device to be folded for easy and compact storage/shipping.

A valve is provided that cooperates with an element within the interior, the valve being movable between an open and a closed position. The valve being biased to the open position when the element is not positioned within the interior space, wherein the interior space is fluidly coupled to the atmosphere in the open position. The valve further being configured to move to a closed position when the element is positioned within the interior space.
