Abstract: A wearable health monitoring harness includes a vest, a bus comprising two wires configured to carry digitized signals and power, a plurality of pairs connectors, where each connector in a pair is connected to a wire of the bus, a battery connected to the bus, a set of sensor units, and a controller unit. Each sensor unit comprises sensor circuitry for measuring bodily signals of a person wearing the wearable harness, an analog to digital converter configured to receive analog signals from the sensor circuitry and convert the analog signals to digitized data, a processor configured to communicate data over the bus, and a pair of connector ports for detachably connecting to a pair of the connectors on the bus. The controller unit includes a processor configured to receive digitized data from the set of sensor units processors and send the digitized data to one or more external devices.
