    Abstract: A surveyor's marker includes an elongated body portion tapered in an axial direction from a head portion to a generally pointed tip. The head portion has a cruxiform configuration enabling it to be used in a cross-hair's sense and seen at a substantial distance. The device is integrally molded such as by injection molding from a brightly colored and relatively stiff and inexpensive plastic.
