  • Patent number: 11955207
Abstract: The disclosure provides systems and methods for data analysis of experimental data. The analysis can include reference data that are not directly generated from the present experiment, which reference data may be values of the experimental parameters that were either provided by a user, computed by the system with input from a user, or computed by the system without using any input from a user. Another example of such reference data may be information about the instrument, such as the calibration method of the instrument.

  • Patent number: 6911236
Abstract: A method for forming a craft coating on a glass or ceramic substrate is provided. The method generally includes applying a coating composition comprising an acetoacetoxy functional monomer to a glass or ceramic substrate to form a craft coating thereon. The glass or ceramic substrate can form a portion of an article of windows, kitchenwares, decorative housewares, and ceramic tiles.

  • Patent number: 4784040
Abstract: A control system for a pneumatic actuator uses pressurized gases, such as air, as the actuating medium. Such gases and particularly air commonly contain moisture which condenses to form a liquid, such as water, which collects in a closed chamber of an expandable chamber assembly in the pneumatic actuator. In cold climates, the water freezes, preventing proper control of the pneumatic actuator. By providing a control system having a valve positioned elevationally higher or in close proximity to a pneumatic actuator and a tube which extends into the closed chamber of the expandable chamber assembly, water which is contained in the closed chamber is expelled from the elevationally lowest portion of the assembly when the valve is shifted to exhaust the air from the control system.

  • Patent number: 4274680
Abstract: PCT No. PCT/US79/00597 Sec. 371 Date Aug. 13, 1979 Sec. 102(e) Date Aug. 13, 1979 PCT Filed Aug. 13, 1979 PCT Pub. No. WO81/00384 PCT Pub. Date Feb. 19, 1981A hydraulic fluid brake system having a differential lock causes all of the torque from the engine to be delivered to the non-spinning wheel resulting in overloading of the components. By providing a non-locking differential (54) and a hydraulic fluid brake system (10), a controlled braking of the spinning wheel will provide a torque to the non-spinning wheel substantially equal to the torque from the braking of the spinning wheel and not allow the spinning wheel to be fully braked. The operator can selectively move a valve member (26) and maintain a modulated source of pressure (20) to the non-spinning wheel and controllably modulate the fluid pressure at the spinning wheel, thus controlling the braking effect of the brake on the spinning wheel. This arrangement controls the torque and eliminates harsh braking of an individual wheel.

  • Patent number: 4109963
Abstract: A gate latch control system for dump body vehicles includes a hoist control member positionable between lower, hold and raise positions, a hoist lock member, a latch position sensor and a gate latch member positionable between latch and unlatch positions. The hoist lock member is connected to maintain the hoist control member against movement to the raise position when the sensor senses the gate latch member in the latch position and to permit movement of the hoist control member to the raise position when the latch position sensor senses the gate latch member in the unlatch position.

  • Patent number: 3981539
Abstract: Apparatus for controlling the operation of dump doors of a wagon or the like, permitting the operator to set a control lever selectively in a closed or open position, with the apparatus effecting the desired selective movement of the doors and returning the control lever to a "Hold" position upon completion of the desired movement. The apparatus includes a cam device responsive to the movement of the doors to the selected position for releasing the control lever and thereby terminating the driving of the doors to the selected position. The apparatus alternatively may provide a single full movement of the doors or a sequential movement, as desired.
