  • Patent number: 11598061
Abstract: A snow shovel that has a shaft, a handle, and a scoop to allow the user to remove unwanted snow and ice from a surface. This shovel includes a heated bottom edge with a vibrating motor to melt and dislodge ice or snow from a surface. The shovel also includes a vibration-reducing mechanism to dampen the vibrations that a user might feel during the use of this shovel, along with sensors that detect when the heated edge and motor should be turned on or off.

  • Publication number: 20160076690
Abstract: A secure inlet cap protecting the inlets of a fire department connection from blockage and damage. The secure inlet cap includes a cover and lock, each having at least one tab that engages the posts of the swivels of the fire department connection inlets. When fitted over the posts and assembled with tamper-proof fasteners, the secure inlet cap securely prevents access to the inlet. In non-emergency situations, the secure inlet cap may be removed without damage by removing the fasteners. The lock includes a tool slot receiving a tool that allows the secure inlet cap to be quickly pried loose by applying force to the fasteners. Deformable areas in the cover give way when sufficient prying force is applied breaking the hold between the fasteners and the cover and allowing the cover and the lock to be separated and removed from the swivel.

  • Publication number: 20150186473
Abstract: A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer executable code that runs a digital dashboard application. The digital dashboard application includes a visualization data structure containing visualizations; a metric data structure containing metrics; and a metric box interface that displays one or more metric boxes. A metric box is configured to display a primary set of metadata associated with a metric in the metric data structure and the primary set of metadata includes one of the visualizations in the visualization data structure. Two or more metric boxes may be combined such that the metrics displayed in the metric boxes serve as inputs in a data manipulation operation. The output of the data manipulation operation is displayed in an additional metric box.

  • Publication number: 20130330218
Abstract: A portable hydrostatic test pump and a system incorporating the portable hydrostatic test pump to pressurize a closed piping system for leak testing purposes is described herein and illustrated in the accompanying figures. The portable hydrostatic test pump includes a compact, lightweight, low power pump module operable using a portable power source. This allows the portable hydrostatic test pump to be used for testing closed piping systems located in areas that are physically difficult to access and/or without access to a permanent power source.
