Embodiments include forming fully strained defect-free SiGe fins on a first portion of a Si substrate; forming Si fins on a second portion of the Si substrate; forming STI regions between adjacent SiGe fins and Si fins; forming a cladding layer over top and side surfaces of the SiGe fins and the Si fins and over the STI regions in the second portion of the Si substrate; recessing the STI regions on the first portion of the Si substrate, revealing a bottom portion of the SiGe fins; implanting dopant into the Si substrate below the SiGe fins; and annealing.

Abstract: Methods for fabricating integrated circuits including selectively forming layers of increased dopant concentration are provided. In an embodiment, a method for fabricating an integrated circuit includes forming a material layer with a selected facet on a selected plane and a non-selected facet on a non-selected plane. The method further includes performing an epitaxial deposition process with a dopant source to grow an in-situ doped epitaxial material on the material layer. The epitaxial deposition process grows the in-situ doped epitaxial material on the selected facet at a first growth rate and over the non-selected facet at a second growth rate greater than the first growth rate. A layer of increased dopant concentration is selectively formed over the selected facet.

Abstract: A pointing device and method for providing both translational and rotational input to a computer, to manipulate graphical objects. In one embodiment, a pointing stick is cantilevered to a base. One or more translational sensors are coupled to the pointing stick to generate translational signals in response to lateral forces applied to the pointing stick. One or more rotational sensors are coupled to the pointing stick to generate rotational signals in response to rotational forces applied to the pointing stick. The rotational sensor may sense torque, such as with a piezoelectric sensor configured to detect rotational strain on a fixed pointing stick. The rotational sensor may alternatively sense rotational displacement, such as with a potentiometer configured to detect rotation of a rotatable sleeve about a fixed shaft.

Abstract: Aspects of the present invention relate to methods and system of implementing online database modeling. The method includes providing an database modeling diagram framework. The framework is in communication with an online database, and the online database provides access to live data. The method further includes providing online access to the online database for the database modeling diagram framework via an intermediary API, representing a database structure of the online database in a database model within an interface of the database modeling diagram framework, and populating the database model with live data from the online database. Further, the method includes displaying the database model with the live data from the online database within the database modeling diagram framework interface.

The flags may are used to determine if a pattern, cluster or trend identified during data mining of the cleaned data is likely to have been influenced by the data cleaning process, especially to a degree which leads to identification of false trends, patterns, or clusters.

Abstract: A participant in an instant messaging chat room may send restricted messages to only a set of selected participants in the chat room. Enabling a user at a display station to select a set of only users to receive a restricted message, and send the restricted message to this selected group of users, and displaying the restricted message only in the chronological displays in the stations of the set of recipient users, i.e. not displaying the restricted message in the displays of the other users in the chat room.

Abstract: Provided is a system and method that enables a user to manage a computer desktop by eliminating clutter. An enhanced desktop tool enables the user to select and/or define rules for managing the windows in the user's desktop. In some embodiments, a method of desktop management is based upon the mix of applications present on the desktop or based upon the preferences of the user as learned by the corresponding GUI by means of observing which windows the users tends to minimize. Possible schemes for managing a desktop include, but are not limited to: 1) All widows are minimized (current method); 2) All windows except last accessed window are minimized; 3) Secondary windows of all applications are minimized; 4) All windows except those of primary application are minimized; and 5) Windows are minimized based upon user-defined heuristics.

Abstract: Control of an original document content having permissives includes systems, computer program products and methods that include limiting extractions from the original document to discrete defined portions by enforcing one or more extraction permissives associated with the document and decrypting the document to allow displaying the document only through a document control editor that is capable of identifying and enforcing the extraction permissives. The method may further include assembling a manuscript having an extracted portion from the original document and one or more extraction permissives associated with the extracted portion, wherein the extracted portion can be displayed in decrypted form only through the document control editor.

Abstract: Capturing bibliographic attributes from an original document by methods, computer program products and systems, including a method comprising marking text in an original document for copying to a manuscript, capturing any identified bibliographic metadata from the original document and capturing a first number of characters starting at the beginning of the original document. Additional steps may include identifying bibliographic metadata in the original document and defining a set of targeted bibliographic attributes to capture from the original document. The method may further include comparing the captured metadata with the set of targeted bibliographic attributes. Such comparison provides for continuing with the step of identifying as missing attributes any of the targeted attributes that were not captured.

Abstract: Methods 300 and systems 100 are provided for managing files unzipped from a zipped archive file which may have been received, for example, as an email attachment. In response to an undo-unzip command from a user, a manifest associated with the archive is accessed that includes information for identifying the files previously unzipped from the archive file. The undo-unzip command causes the unzipped files to be located and deleted. If unzipped files are found which have been edited or modified since being decompressed, they may be selected to avoid deletion.
