Abstract: A system for managing digital assets is disclosed which includes having a first source capable of creating a designated stock code for an item and having a second source capable of developing a digital asset for each of the items. The system also includes a central repository capable of receiving, storing and disseminating the designated stock codes and the corresponding digital assets for each item. A third source is utilized which is capable of identifying items ordered by a party and matching the items to at least one of the corresponding digital assets. The system further includes a medium for providing access to the central repository or conveying or pushing the digital assets to the designated party.
