  • Patent number: 10690074
Abstract: A method of reducing cold startup time of a genset includes providing a lubricant to the genset at predetermined time intervals before a genset startup. The lubricant is heated to a predetermined lubricant temperature using an external heating system. A high temperature coolant of the genset is heated to greater than a predetermined high temperature coolant temperature. The speed of the engine is ramped to a target speed continuously without pausing at a speed lower than the target speed. Genset electrical parameters of the genset are synchronized to utility grid or load electrical parameters of the utility grid or load. The genset is electrically coupled to the utility grid or load such that the synchronizing and electrically coupling are performed within a predetermined synchronization time. A fueling rate and a spark timing is adjusted based on a power being produced by the genset.

  • Publication number: 20180039930
Abstract: A real-time trade resource management system is shown. In a construction site having one or more points of ingress/egress a tracking assembly at each point of ingress/egress is used to determine when workers are first and last observed on the site. Each worker on the site is assigned to a specific contract for the construction project. A server, computer readable medium, and method for managing trade resources is described.

  • Publication number: 20170081707
Abstract: Facilities operations can be conducted more safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively by monitoring changes in the facility microbiome and intervening when those changes indicate the likelihood of a deleterious effect there-from.

  • Publication number: 20070087866
Abstract: A personal golfing assistant system is comprised of software running on a PDA attached directly or remotely to a GPS receiver that enables the user to survey and/or electronically capture geophysical golf data. A handheld device connected to or integrated with a GPS receiver can instead be used. Software allows a golfer to use a handheld PDA/GPS unit during the course of play to mark a ball location automatically and/or determine the distance to golf course targets and/or objects, and to analyze golf related data and generate statistics. The system can send a set of parameters tailored for a specific course to a real time tunable GPS to adjust for optimal performance and can adjust measurements to compensate for environmental condition changes.

  • Publication number: 20040238685
Abstract: The subject method and apparatus for unspooling cable provides a spool cradle with a substantially rectangular shape formed by parallel spaced side walls and parallel spaced end walls. Roller assemblies are mounted on opposite end walls of the cradle and, preferably, one roller assembly is adjustable with respect to relative spacing between roller assemblies to accommodate spools of different sizes. A support frame assembly receives a plurality of spool cradles when the job requires multiple cables.

  • Publication number: 20040192555
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method for increasing irrigation efficiency by applying a non-surfactant, non-crosslinked water-soluble polymer to established turf to increase irrigation efficiency. The polymer is preferably a linear anionic high molecular weight polyacrylamide.

  • Patent number: 6279287
Abstract: A prefabricated building panel includes first and second side panel members. A thermally insulating core is disposed between those side panel members. A first panel end surface includes a pair of spaced projections defining a channel-way. A second panel end surface includes a pair of spaced channels and a thermal barrier plug. Two adjacent building panels may be interconnected by engaging the pair of spaced projections at the first end of the first panel in the pair of spaced channels in the second end of the second panel while simultaneously engaging the thermally insulating plug at the second end of the second panel in the channel-way at the first end of the first panel.

  • Patent number: 5827458
Abstract: A continuous process for making a structural foam panel with a stiffener is described, and a continuous assembly line for the process is described. The continuous assembly line includes decoilers for decoiling top and bottom skins, uncoilers for releasing top and bottom stiffeners, straighteners for threading and attaching the stiffeners to the skins, respectively, roll formers for shaping both skins and stiffeners into a structural shape, a foam injector for injecting foam between the skins to form an integrated continuous panel, a foam conveyor for pressing the integrated continuous panel, an oven for curing the integrated continuous panel, a clamp and cut-off saw for cutting the continuous panel, and a computer to control the saw to cut the continuous panel into selected kits of discrete panels to assemble selected buildings.
