  • Patent number: 10694921
Abstract: A dishwasher, including: a dishwashing compartment having a loading opening; a door configured to close the loading opening; a bottom washware rack configured for movement out of and into the dishwashing compartment; a middle washware rack configured for movement out of and into the dishwashing compartment; and a top washware rack configured for movement out of and into the dishwashing compartment. The top rack is formed of wire thereby to hold washware including cutlery and to enhance drying performance. The spacing between an inner surface of a top wall of the dishwashing compartment and an upper surface of a deepest portion of the top rack is in a range of 79.0 mm to 83.0 mm. The top rack is formed with a notch section along at least one side in a bottom portion thereof, and include an angled portion to hold bowls at a slight tilt with respect to horizontal.

  • Patent number: 7497222
Abstract: A dishwashing machine including a comminution device and a method for comminuting residue in the dishwasher. The comminution device at minimal manufacturing costs, makes it possible to easily comminute the coarse contaminants or residue accumulating during the rinse cycle in the dishwashing machine, flush it out of the dishwasher and at the same time reduce the danger of clogging the sieve(s) placed in the dishwasher. The comminution device preferably is actuated by the lye pump of the dishwashing machine. In this manner the comminution device is actuated easily and efficiently, which both enables cost-effective manufacture of the dishwashing machine, and improves its operating safety and ease of maintenance. In the process the rinse residue can first collect during the rinse cycle in uncomminuted form on the floor of the rinsing container and only then be comminuted when the washing liquid is pumped out and flushed out of the dishwashing machine.

  • Publication number: 20060207160
Abstract: A fishing lure that uses light as an attractant but does not require any power-generating means or light-generating means. The lure has a body with a forward end and an oppositely-disposed tail end, with the body being configured so that when drawn through water from the forward end the body orients itself to have a dorsal side, an oppositely-disposed ventral side, and two oppositely-disposed lateral sides between the dorsal and ventral sides. The lure further includes an element for collecting light impinging the dorsal side of the body, an element for conducting the light away from the dorsal side to at least one of the ventral side and the lateral sides of the body, and an element for emitting the light from the ventral and/or lateral sides of the body.
