  • Publication number: 20240093595
Abstract: A method and system for identifying scale. The method may include disposing a fluid sampling tool into a wellbore. The fluid sampling tool may comprise at least one probe configured to fluidly connect the fluid sampling tool to a formation in the wellbore and at least one passageway that passes through the at least one probe and into the fluid sampling tool. The method may further comprise drawing a formation fluid, as a fluid sample, through the at least one probe and through the at least one passageway, perturbing the formation fluid, and analyzing the fluid sample in the fluid sampling tool for one or more indications of scale.

  • Patent number: 11918821
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure are directed toward apparatuses, systems, and methods that may include a connector port subassembly. The connector port subassembly may include one or more connector blocks configured to interference fit within a connector bore, one or more windows through the core subassembly to the one or more connector blocks, and one or more seal rings configured to interference fit within the connector bore and eliminate adulterant entry into the connector bore through the one or more windows.

  • Publication number: 20210260414
Abstract: There is provided a head wearable air purifier comprising a first speaker assembly and a second speaker assembly, wherein the first speaker assembly comprises a speaker, a filter assembly, an impeller for creating an airflow through the filter assembly, a motor arranged to drive the impeller, and an air outlet downstream from the filter assembly for emitting the filtered airflow from the speaker assembly. The impeller and the motor are disposed within an impeller casing. The first speaker assembly further comprises a housing containing the speaker, the filter assembly and the impeller casing, and the impeller casing is suspended within the housing by a plurality of resilient supports.

  • Patent number: 10295392
Abstract: A removable portable wireless fluid sensor system for use in hydrocarbon wells having a sensor assembly with a guided wave radar level and interface transmitter, a single flex probe with a sensor wire, a top tank mounting system for supporting the single flex probe, at least one turbulence breaker, and a secondary wireless controller in communication with a primary wireless controller. The secondary wireless controller communicates with the single flex probe, the guided wave radar level and interface transmitter, and the primary wireless controller. The removable portable wireless fluid sensor system is configured for detecting fluid levels in tanks accurately as levels change due to coiled tubing operations in completions of hydrocarbon wells, snubbing operations in completions of hydrocarbons wells, water transfer operations during fracturing of a hydrocarbon well, and flow back fluid measurement and well testing procedures for hydrocarbon wells.

  • Patent number: 6142177
Abstract: A simple ammonia tool bar throttle valve is disclosed which is primarily for use with those systems which will utilize a stripper pump unit to increase the ammonia system pressure prior to the metering devices. The ammonia tool bar throttle receives the metered ammonia at a greater pressure than that of the system storage tank, and enters a lower chamber where it crosses a filter before exiting the unit across a throttle orifice which is throttled by the action of an aluminum throttle diaphragm which separates the lower chamber from a control chamber. The aluminum throttle diaphragm is positioned to maintain the desired mass flow by the forces of a separately regulated ammonia control fluid which is throttled to the control chamber before being bled back to the storage tank across an orifice.

  • Patent number: 6117217
Abstract: A liquid ammonia pump-vapor stripper unit is disclosed having an impeller pump assembly which increases the system pressure before it is delivered to a receiver-accumulator where the ammonia vapor mass formed along its path from the storage tank is separated from the liquid and throttled across a variable area regulator formed between a regulator cone and a regulator ball and past a normally closed demand valve before the vapor mass is returned to the storage tank. The dew point of the liquid ammonia mass flowing through the unit is increased by the impeller pump due to the additional pressure added to the system, the liquid ammonia leaving the receiver-accumulator behaves more like a true liquid resulting in a more accurate downstream metering and a more efficient delivery of ammonia to the soil.
