    Abstract: A tubular scraper which can be assembled so that the blades will be either rotating or non-rotating, as desired. If the tubular scraper is assembled in the non-rotating configuration, and the blades becomes stuck in the casing, the drill string can be pulled upward to engage a clutch. Once the clutch is engaged, the scraper is converted to a rotating scraper, so that the drill string can be rotated to assist in dislodging the stuck scraper blades.
