  • Patent number: 11426745
Abstract: A chemical dispensing device includes a turbine having a diluent inlet and a diluent outlet; a pump having a chemical inlet and a chemical outlet, wherein the pump is connected with and actuated by rotation of the turbine; a mixing chamber having a mixing inlet and a mixing outlet; wherein the diluent inlet is configured for direct connection with a supply of pressurized diluent; wherein the pump inlet is configured for connection with a supply of chemical concentrate; wherein the diluent outlet and chemical outlet are in fluid communication with the mixing inlet of the mixing chamber. The chemical dispensing device of the present disclosure may further include a backflow preventer separating the diluent outlet from the mixing inlet and being configured to prevent flow of fluid from the mixing chamber to the diluent outlet. An associated method of diluting and dispensing a chemical concentrate is also described.

  • Patent number: 10138110
Abstract: A system for mixing and dispensing solution, such as a cleaning solution, includes a body with a first flow passage extending between a diluent inlet and an outlet, and a second flow passage extending between a concentrate inlet and the first flow passage. The system further includes a container for concentrate, with a container including a container valve. Moving the body axially toward the container to seat the body on the container opens the container valve for a flow of concentrate from the container to the first flow passage via the second flow passage. Further, moving the body axially away from the container to unseat the body from the container closes the container valve to the flow of concentrate.

  • Patent number: 9561481
Abstract: A multi-chemical dispensing device comprising a concentrate supply of at least one chemical concentrate, a flow selector valve in fluid communication with said concentrate supply, and at least two proportioners, each proportioner in fluid communication with the flow selector valve. The flow selector valve may include a dilution member comprising one or more aligned orifice pairs, each orifice pair including an first orifice and a second orifice in fluid communication with the concentrate supply. Each orifice has an opening area to provide a known dilution ratio at a known flow rate therethrough. Each proportioner is connected to a supply of motive fluid. The concentrate dispensing device includes a plurality of check valves that close off the system when one of the water supplies is turned on. The plurality of check valves are also configured to allow the chemical concentrate to drain out of the multi-chemical dispensing device using gravity.
