  • Patent number: 11981173
Abstract: A hitch lock for securing a trailer attachment during to a towing vehicle. The hitch lock comprises two substantially symmetrically mirrored upside-down L-shaped brackets and a rectangular plate comprising downwardly angled ends. The brackets form an enclosed U-shape, covering the hitch ball when assembled, while the plate fits into multiple slots on the brackets, forming a locked position. The adjustable slots on the brackets facilitate accommodation of diverse trailer hitch configurations, ensuring a precise fit. The angled ends of the plate enhance stability, mitigating lateral movement and prevent unauthorized individuals from sliding the brackets off of the plate.

  • Publication number: 20200281376
Abstract: A frame mounting system for hanging frames on a wall surface includes a wall-mount cleat and a product-side cleat that is integrally-formed in at least one side frame rails of a frame during the manufacture of the frame. The two cleats are sized and shaped to selectively and snugly engage each other. A user simply mounts the wall-mount cleat level to a wall surface and then engages the product-side cleat with the wall mount cleat. An additional feature of the present invention is a flat surface that is formed in the frame rail adjacent to the integrally formed cleat. This flat surface is sized and shaped to receive and support a backing material by either staples or an appropriate adhesive to help protect the rear of the picture or painting.

  • Patent number: 10481956
Abstract: In one embodiment of the present invention, a replicated state machine comprises a proposal manager, an agreement manager, a collision/back-off timer and a storage reclaimer. The proposal manager facilitates management of proposals issued by a node of a distributed application for enabling coordinated execution of the proposals by all other nodes of the distributed application. The agreement manager facilitates agreement on the proposals. The collision/back-off timer precludes repeated pre-emptions of rounds in attempting to achieve agreement on the proposals. The storage reclaimer reclaims persistent storage utilized for storing at least one of proposal agreements and the proposals.

  • Publication number: 20180135372
Abstract: A system of cleaning a portion of the casing prior to a plugging operation may include a centralizer, a first radially extendable cutting tool, a second radially extendable cutting tool, a preliminary extendable cleaning tool, and a fluid jet cleaning tool. In a preferred embodiment a centralizer, a radially extendable cutting tool, and a fluid jet cleaning tool are run into a wellbore where the radially extendable cutting tool cut the window through the inner production tubular and the fluid jet cleaning tool removes the remaining's cement and other debris allowing a plug to be placed within the window. In another embodiment a centralizer and a first extendable cutting tool may be run into the well where a small window is cut and then the centralizer first extendable cutting tool are removed from the wellbore. A centralizer, a second extendable cutting tool, and a fluid jet cleaning tool a run into the wellbore.

  • Publication number: 20170258604
Abstract: Devices and methods are provided for assisting in spinal stabilization. An improved intervertebral plate system is provided that includes an intervertebral spacer, a curvilinear plate, a plurality of bone screws, a curvilinear cover element and a cover screw. The curvilinear plate is configured and arranged to at least inhibit the intervertebral spacer from backing out when positioned between the two vertebrae of a patient. The plate can be secured to one or more intervertebral bodies via a plurality of bone screws. The curvilinear cover element, which can have a smooth and uniform surface, can be attached to the plate. The cover element is configured to inhibit the plurality of bone screws from inadvertently backing out of the plate. The plate and/or the cover element can be substantially recessed within the intervertebral space, thereby reducing the risk of damage to tissue.

The plate includes an upper surface and a lower surface with bone screw receiving holes that extend through both surfaces of the plate. The bone screws couple the plate to the bone via the bone screw receiving holes. The blocking elements are movably positioned proximate each bone screw receiving hole. In an initial unblocked position, the blocking elements do not cover the bone screw receiving holes. Upon movement into final blocked positions, the blocking elements cover at least a portion of the bone screw receiving holes and preferably extend over at least a portion of the bone screw during use.
