  • Publication number: 20240416164
Abstract: A container system is provided for cooling a fire suppressant agent container. The container system may employ an outer container that partially or fully encloses the fire suppressant agent container. The outer container may include inlets and outlets to direct air flow to the inner volume and passively cool the fire suppressant agent container. The outer container may include any number of inlets and outlets and may be located to catch any moving air and/or cross winds. The outer container may facilitate convective cooling of the fire suppressant agent container and additionally provide shade and protection from the environment for the fire suppressant agent container while mitigating radiative heat transfer.

  • Patent number: 12091883
Abstract: An overhead door interlock device provides an electrical signal indication of the locked or unlocked status of an overhead door, and interfaces with control circuitry of the door's opener to allow or disallow operation of the door based on the locked or unlocked status. In one embodiment, a lever is pivotably attached to the doors track, with the lever engaging with a switch mechanism to indicate the locked or unlocked status of the door. A spring mechanism automatically returns the lever to an unlocked position when the door's lock bar is retracted, with the lever mechanically inhibiting locking of the door until the lever is moved by a user.

  • Publication number: 20190228663
Abstract: A platform architecture system and method for managing a taxi fleet are provided. An example system includes a driver terminal installed in a taxi and configured to collect operational data associated with the taxi. The system includes a data server module for execution on a data server communicatively coupled to the driver terminal, the module configuring the data server to receive, store, and provide authorized access to the driver terminal's operational data. The system includes a customer module, for execution on a computing device communicatively coupled to the data server, which configures the computing device to receive the operational data from the data server, and track, based thereon, a geographical location and occupancy of each taxi. The customer module can receive and aggregate ride requests from various sources and in various forms. Based on the requests and associated geographical location, dispatch request messages are sent to selected taxi driver terminals.

  • Patent number: 10211060
Abstract: A number of variations may include a method that may include depositing a first layer on a first semiconductor layer in an overlying position with respect to at least one trench structure formed in the first semiconductor epi layer. The first layer may include a first metal and a second metal. A second layer may comprise a material constructed and arranged to scavenge semiconductor material migrating from the first semiconductor layer during annealing may be deposited over the first layer. The first semiconductor layer may be subjected to at least a first annealing act to provide a first structure. At least a portion of the first structure may be stripped to remove any of the first layer not reacted with the semiconductor material to form a Schottky barrier structure during the first annealing act.
