  • Patent number: 8990110
Abstract: A system and method for assigning controlled access to a securable device may include a kiosk configured to receive a PIN and to collect payment from a user for rental of a securable device from among multiple securable devices. A lock unit associated with the securable device and in communication with the kiosk may be configured to receive the PIN from said kiosk. After receiving the PIN, the kiosk may be configured to operate autonomously with respect to the kiosk to enable the user to access the securable device in response to the user entering the PIN into the lock unit.

  • Publication number: 20140330407
Abstract: This invention involves the configuration of locker sizes during installation that can be reconfigured periodically to conform to the packages that arrive at the locker location. Locker control software can enable the efficient selection of locker size so that the locker bank can be optimized to the size of the packages that are delivered to the locker location. The reconfigurable lockers also may include a modular locker control module that can assist in the easy facilitation of changing the locker size. Also, the locker software can be flexible enough so that customers can have a direct communication link to the locker software that would allow the customer's mobile device to input authentication and access codes that would open up locker door(s).

  • Patent number: 8410901
Abstract: Controlled access to a securable device is assigned whereby a kiosk is operable to assign an authorized user an ability to access a securable device selected from among a plurality of securable devices located remotely from the kiosk. The kiosk associates a unique personal identification number (PIN) with the authorized user and with the selected securable device, and is operable to transmit the unique PIN to the selected securable device, inform the user of the unique PIN; provide the user with location information of the selected securable device. The selected securable device is adapted to accept entry, at the securable device, of a PIN, and permits access upon entry of the unique PIN.

  • Patent number: 5953435
Abstract: An intra-concha stabilizer with length adjustable conchal wall hook securely holds an audio transducer or speaker within a wearer's ear. The audio speaker is held within a support integrally included within an outer shell of the stabilizer. Within the outer shell, a conchal wall hook carrier slides along an integrally formed groove within the outside of the outer shell. The conchal wall hook perpendicularly protrudes away from the inside of the outer shell and the conchal wall hook carrier in order to engage the conchal wall of the wearer's ear. When worn, the audio speaker is positioned within the wearer's ear between the tragus and the antitragus. The conchal wall hook is then slidably positioned against the conchal wall of the wearer's ear in order to secure the speaker within the ear.
