Publication number: 20220407176Abstract: A system for mitigating fire within a battery storage container enclosing an energy storage system includes a sensor configured to detect a precursor condition indicative of a potential fire or explosion, a controller, and a set of extendable battery trays, each including a tray ejector and containing a set of battery cells. The controller detects a precursor condition in a battery tray via the sensor and ejects the battery tray to increase the distance between the battery tray and adjacent battery trays. The system can include a cooling channel in the battery tray configured to cool the set of battery cells, and/or a nozzle configured to direct fluid into the battery tray to suppress the precursor condition. In one variation, the system includes a door of the container configured to open, venting the interior of the container in response to detection of a precursor condition indicating a potential explosion.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 17, 2022Publication date: December 22, 2022Inventors: Noah Lael Ryder, Brent Allen Turner, III, Ryan Alexander Hutchens, Anthony James Natale

Patent number: 11176107Abstract: A computer system processes data records in a multi-tenant environment to ensure data quality. A plurality of records from a plurality of data sources are processed to provide a data quality metric for each field of the plurality of records based on record values in the field. A threshold range satisfying a specificity level of a data source is selected for each data quality metric. The data quality metric is compared to the threshold range to determine whether the data quality metric violates the threshold. A data quality report is provided for the plurality of records, wherein the data quality report indicates whether the data quality metric of each field violates the selected threshold range. Embodiments of the present invention further include a method and program product for processing data records in a multi-tenant environment to ensure data quality in substantially the same manner described above.Type: GrantFiled: December 7, 2018Date of Patent: November 16, 2021Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Yifan Xu, James Natale, Matthew Hagenbuch, Matthew M. Patent number: 11152087Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for ensuring quality in electronic health data. Data processing pipelines among different tenants are monitored for data artifacts generated from electronic health data, where a “data artifact” refers to the tangible by-products produced during the processing of the electronic health record datasets generated by the electronic health record systems as well as the datasets themselves. Out of the generated data artifacts, those data artifacts that are produced from the same stage of the data processing pipelines among the different tenants are aggregated. A set of metrics at various levels of a dataset hierarchy are produced from the aggregated data artifacts. Such metrics provide information about a quality of the electronic health data. A quality report, which may include flagged issues with the datasets, is then generated and presented to a user based on an analysis of the produced set of metrics.Type: GrantFiled: October 12, 2018Date of Patent: October 19, 2021Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Matthew Hagenbuch, Yifan Xu, James Natale, Matthew M.
