  • Publication number: 20240017908
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of the transportation and the storage of thermally labile goods such as pharmaceuticals, and to a container system and apparatus (40) employing a total loss evaporation agent such as dry ice. In particular, but not necessarily restricted thereto, the present invention relates to a container system and apparatus (40) for the transportation and the temperature controlled storage of ultra-low temperature, low volume, high value goods.
    Type: Application
    Filed: August 26, 2021
    Publication date: January 18, 2024
Inventors: Edwin Francis TATTAM, Richard Darren WOOD, Jack WALTON, James Nathan JARVIS, Sean James AUSTERBERRY, Ross Malcom BEECH, Adam DELDERFIELD
  • Publication number: 20230271750
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of the transportation and storage of goods, to a modular container for shipping and handling cargo and to a storage system therefor, and to such a container that may be easily assembled or disassembled. In particular, but not necessarily restricted thereto, the present invention relates to a system for the transportation and storage of palletized goods.
    Type: Application
    Filed: July 19, 2021
    Publication date: August 31, 2023
Inventors: Edwin Francis TATTAM, James Nathan JARVIS
  • Patent number: 10442567
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of the transportation and storage of goods and to a transport and storage system and, in particular, a system for the transportation and storage of goods such as palletized goods and self-standing goods. The present invention seeks to provide a system that can enable goods to be securely and reliably horizontally, vertically and offset stacked, despite different sizes of goods and support members therefor, such as pallets, whereby wasted volumes arising from the presence of irregular loads, pallets or pallets of different levels or different load ratings in storage and transport can be minimized.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 30, 2016
Date of Patent: October 15, 2019
    Assignee: SOFTBOX SYSTEMS LIMITED
Inventors: Edwin Francis Tattam, Ross Malcolm Beech, James Nathan Jarvis
  • Publication number: 20190226744
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of the transportation and storage of goods and to a passive temperature control system for such a transport and storage containers. The present invention seeks to provide a system that can enable goods to be securely and reliably transported and stored for limited periods within specified temperature ranges. Pharmaceuticals, proteins, biological samples and other temperature sensitive products, including food items, are regularly shipped in containers year round and are subjected to a wide range of temperatures. Though they are shipped in insulated containers and/or climate controlled environments, the temperature stability of the shipping containers can be significantly improved by utilising suitable phase change materials in an ordered fashion. The present invention provides a simple solution to the maintenance of temperature profiles for the transport and storage of temperature sensitive products.
    Type: Application
    Filed: June 26, 2017
    Publication date: July 25, 2019
Inventors: Richard Darren Wood, Arthur Smith-Fitchett, Ross Malcolm Beech, James Nathan Jarvis, Gavin Hill, Timothy Astley-Cooper
