  • Publication number: 20250360240
Abstract: An UV-C device may include several UV-C light sources (e.g., UV-C LEDs) and such UV-C LEDs may have UV-C reflecting structures arranged to direct UV-C in a particular direction and at a particular size and shape. Doing so may, for example, increase the UV-C in a particular direction or working area. A UV-C generating device may be utilized in an air stream, such as an air duct, to sterilize air from that air stream. Sound suppression compartments may be placed around a UV-C generating device inlet and/or a device outlet to reduce sound from the UV-C generating device. Human perceivable (e.g., audible, tactile, and/or visual) notifications may be utilized to provide notification of different modes of operation and/or different efficacy levels (e.g., percent ranges of inactivation of a particular or multiple particular viruses, bacteria, spores, etc.

  • Patent number: 12419293
Abstract: A jug fishing with lights including a housing assembly, a reel assembly and an electronic assembly. The housing includes a flotation housing. The reel assembly includes a spool and a fishing line. The electronic assembly includes a light and a sensor. The flotation housing has a cylindrical shape. The flotation housing is hollow. The spool is attached to inner walls of the flotation housing. The fishing line is wounded on the spool. The flotation housing floats in water having the fishing line extending downwards from the housing float. The sensor is attached to the spool. The sensor detects rotation in the spool to turn on the light.

  • Publication number: 20250232102
Abstract: In an embodiment a method for analyzing a printed circuit board (PCB) design includes obtaining a PCB design file from a user, wherein the PCB design file comprises a design of a PCB, determining electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) information of the PCB based on the design of the PCB of the obtained PCB design file, analyzing the EMC information to determine whether at least one EMC issue is detected in the EMC information, and determining feedback information based on a result of the analyzing of the EMC information.

  • Publication number: 20250232257
Abstract: A system is for extracting data from a drawing BOM. The system includes a processor configured to receive the initial drawing, process the initial drawing to generate extracted values, and assign a part number to each of the extracted values. The processor is also configured to generate a material list based upon the part numbers for the extracted values, generate area values and mass values for the material list, generate a value for stock material from the initial drawing, and output a listing for the BOM based upon the material list and the value for stock material.

  • Publication number: 20250153593
Abstract: A battery control component of an electric vehicle may limit charging of a battery on the electric vehicle to a target state of charge (SOC), such as to reserve battery capacity for regenerative braking during downgrades. A computing device associated with the vehicle may calculate an estimated gradient profile and/or an estimated total energy consumption of a predicted upcoming route of the vehicle based on one or more data items, such as GPS data, altitude data, and/or map data. The computing device may determine a target SOC based on the estimated gradient profile. The computing device may determine a confidence factor associated with the estimated gradient profile, where the confidence factor depends on the quantity of data items used to calculate the estimated gradient profile. The computing device may adjust the target SOC based on the confidence factor.

  • Patent number: 12208795
Abstract: Automated launch torque is provided. An automated virtual launch torque generation (AVL-TG) system may be included in a vehicle, such as a heavy duty truck, that may interoperate with an adaptive cruise control (CC) system to move the vehicle from a standstill or low speed to a CC handover speed. The AVL-TG system may determine a tip-in torque curve configured to mimic a torque curve generated by a human operator's acceleration pedal tip-in from a standstill or low speed. The tip-in torque curve may be represented by torque demand values corresponding to a dynamic pedal saturation level applied over a dynamic pedal rate. The torque demand values determined by the AVL-TG system may mimic an expected or human vehicle operator generated torque request, and may operate to successfully close the clutch and smoothly launch the vehicle from a standstill or low speed.

  • Publication number: 20210299302
Abstract: A hands-free object sanitization system is provided where multiple UV-C LEDs are provided around a work area (e.g., a surface) in order to sterilize contaminants located on objects placed in that work area (e.g., virus and/or bacteria). Objects may travel through the work area without direct human intervention so that a hands-free sanitization system is provided. For example, objects may be dropped through a working area so that gravity provides a transport force through that working area.

Abstract: A UV-C generator is provided where multiple UV-C LEDs are provided around a work area (e.g., a tube) in order to sterilize contaminants in that work area (e.g., virus and/or bacteria) to provide a sterilization device for substances in, or flowing through, the work area. The tube may gates to change the speed and/or direction of a flowing working substance and may have a spiraling channel in the tube such that the length of travel in the spiraling channel is longer than the tube. Such UV-C generator devices may be utilized, for example, to sanitize air flowing through devices such as a ventilator or face mask.
