  • Patent number: 11868537
Abstract: Systems and techniques are described for robust radar-based gesture-recognition. A radar system detects radar-based gestures on behalf of application subscribers. A state machine transitions between multiple states based on inertial sensor data. A no-gating state enables the radar system to output radar-based gestures to application subscribers. The state machine also includes a soft-gating state that prevents the radar system from outputting the radar-based gestures to the application subscribers. A hard-gating state prevents the radar system from detecting radar-based gestures altogether. The techniques and systems enable the radar system to determine when not to perform gesture-recognition, enabling user equipment to automatically reconfigure the radar system to meet user demand. By so doing, the techniques conserve power, improve accuracy, or reduce latency relative to many common techniques and systems for radar-based gesture-recognition.

  • Publication number: 20230417335
Abstract: A manual reset actuator includes a main drain, a diaphragm release aperture fluidly coupled to a flow control valve, an upper chamber, a control port, a control orifice, an upper chamber supply orifice, and a sealing assembly, which includes a button, and a plunger. A pressure in the upper chamber exerts a downward force on the plunger. A spring exerts an upward force on the plunger. The fluid in the upper chamber is released via the control orifice, which lowers the pressure in the upper chamber, decreasing the downward force exerted on the plunger. When the downward force is less than the upward force, the spring forces the plunger upwards into an open configuration, which unseals the diaphragm release aperture. When the upward force is less than the downward force, the plunger remains in a closed configuration, which keeps the diaphragm release aperture sealed.

  • Patent number: 11854592
Abstract: A control circuit is configured to connect to a cross-point memory array in which each conductive line, such as a bit line or word line, is connected to a transistor pair comprising a pMOSFET in parallel with an nMOSFET. When selecting a memory cell to be read, a voltage of a first conductive line may be pulled up using the pMOSFET in a conductive state while the nMOSFET is in a non-conductive state. Further, when reading the selected memory cell, the parallel nMOSFET of the first conductive line may be in a conductive state.

  • Patent number: 11853022
Abstract: A cooking appliance may employ one or both of a post-preheat phase and a two stage preheat phase to both accelerate preheating of an oven cavity while minimizing temperature differentials therein. A post-preheat phase may be performed subsequent to a preheat phase, but prior to a cooking phase, to cycle a cooking element disposed in a cooler portion of an oven cavity to reduce a temperature differential between the top and bottom of the oven cavity. A two stage preheat phase may sequentially activate each of top and bottom cooking elements in an oven cavity a single time.

  • Patent number: 11854855
Abstract: An example of a method of micro-transfer printing comprises providing a micro-transfer printable component source wafer, providing a stamp comprising a body and spaced-apart posts, and providing a light source for controllably irradiating each of the posts with light through the body. Each of the posts is contacted to a component to adhere the component thereto. The stamp with the adhered components is removed from the component source wafer. The selected posts are irradiated through the body with the light to detach selected components adhered to selected posts from the selected posts, leaving non-selected components adhered to non-selected posts. In some embodiments, using the stamp, the selected components are adhered to a provided destination substrate. In some embodiments, the selected components are discarded. An example micro-transfer printing system comprises a stamp comprising a body and spaced-apart posts and a light source for selectively irradiating each of the posts with light.

  • Publication number: 20230362781
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for precise location-based routing of calls. After a user device originates a non-short code call to a jurisdiction specific number, one or more networked computer processing components utilize the location of the originating user device to generate a location-based translated number. The location-based translated number combines the higher-precision location of the originating device with the destination number, causing the call to be routed to a destination more likely to be associated with the jurisdiction from which the call originated.
