  • Publication number: 20250068244
Abstract: In some embodiments, a computer mouse comprises a housing, a multi-tiered and depressible keyplate including a first tier and a second tier, a haptic element, a subchassis configured to support and directly couple the haptic element to a bottom surface of the first tier of the keyplate, and a sensor (e.g., force sensor, keypress detection sensor, and the like). In some cases, when depressed by a threshold distance, the second tier of the multi-tiered depressible keyplate makes contact with the sensor, causing the sensor to detect that the multi-tiered depressible keyplate is depressed. In some aspects, the multi-tiered depressible keyplate is a monolithic structure such that the first and second tiers move as a single unit relative to the housing when the multi-tiered depressible keyplate is depressed.

  • Publication number: 20250068245
Abstract: In some embodiments, a computer mouse includes a housing, a depressible keyplate, and a haptic element coupled to a bottom surface of the depressible keyplate. The haptic element can be configured to operate in a plurality of modes of operation including a first mode and a second mode. In the first mode of operation, the haptic element can generate a haptic output that statically and unidirectionally deflects and holds the haptic element and coupled keyplate at a deflection distance. In the second mode of operation, the haptic element can generate a second haptic output that bidirectionally deflects the haptic element relative to the deflection distance thereby generating a vibrational feedback that is superimposed on the unidirectional deflection at the deflection distance. In some aspects, the haptic element is a piezoelectric device and the control signal is a voltage applied to the haptic element.

  • Patent number: 12237010
Abstract: Concurrent access of multiple memory cells in a cross-point memory array is disclosed. In one aspect, a forced current approach is used in which, while a select voltage is applied to a selected bit line, an access current is driven separately through each selected word line to concurrently drive the access current separately through each selected memory cell. Hence, multiple memory cells are concurrently accessed. In some aspects, the memory cells are accessed using a self-referenced read (SRR), which improves read margin. Concurrently accessing more than one memory cell in a cross-point memory array improves bandwidth. Moreover, such concurrent accessing allows the memory system to be constructed with fewer, but larger cross-point arrays, which increases array efficiency. Moreover, concurrent access as disclosed herein is compatible with memory cells such as MRAM which require bipolar operation.

  • Patent number: 12231184
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-storage media, for processing communications signals using a machine-learning network are disclosed. In some implementations, pilot and data information are generated for a data signal. The data signal is generated using a modulator for orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. The data signal is transmitted through a communications channel to obtain modified pilot and data information. The modified pilot and data information are processed using a machine-learning network. A prediction corresponding to the data signal transmitted through the communications channel is obtained from the machine-learning network. The prediction is compared to a set of ground truths and updates, based on a corresponding error term, are applied to the machine-learning network.
