    Abstract: The present invention is directed to sun shade apparatus for a chair or similar structure. The apparatus includes adjustment mechanisms for orienting the canopy sheet with respect to the chair for shade, for use as a tray or for stowage. The apparatus is easily attached to the chair with clamping mechanisms which are attached to the legs of a frame member.
