  • Patent number: 11186108
Abstract: A heat transfer process on to a stainless steel cup with a dark surface involves a stainless steel dark surface treatment layer arranged on a base layer of the outer circular surface of the cup body. The stainless steel dark surface treatment layer is sequentially arranged as at least one wire screen printing layer, a resin layer, and a thermal transfer image layer. The is one or several screen printing layers on the dark rough surface to fill up the rough pits on the dark surface to form a smooth surface and then a thermal transfer resin coating is applied, followed by heat transfer printing. A colorful personalized product can thus be produced from the cup.

  • Publication number: 20210148590
Abstract: A climate controller for a media library having a library interior includes one or more of a temperature sensor, a temperature controller, a humidity sensor, and a humidity controller. The temperature sensor senses an inside temperature within the library interior. The temperature controller is positioned within the library interior. The temperature controller controls the temperature within the library interior based at least partially upon the temperature information. The temperature controller can include one of a temperature increaser and a temperature decreaser. The humidity sensor senses an inside humidity within the library interior and generates humidity information. The humidity controller is positioned within the library interior. The humidity controller controls the humidity within the library interior based at least partially upon the humidity information.

  • Publication number: 20210125638
Abstract: A tape media cartridge includes a cartridge housing having a standard form factor, a cartridge reel that is coupled to and retained within the cartridge and a tape media. The tape media can be selectively wound onto the cartridge reel between a fully wound state, a partially wound state and an unwound state. The tape media forms a media hollow cylinder having a media outer diameter and a media inner diameter that varies depending upon the state of the tape media. When the tape media is in the fully wound state, the tape media has a ratio of the media outer diameter to media inner diameter of at least approximately 95:43. The cartridge housing can include a side wall having a wall center and wall edge, the side wall having a side wall thickness that gradually increases from the side wall center to the side wall edge.

  • Patent number: 10559322
Abstract: A diagnostic tape (318) for use with a tape drive (310) having a tape head (322) includes a first tape section (430A) and a second tape section (430B). The first tape section (430A) and the second tape section (430B) are configured to move across the tape head (322) during use of the tape drive (310). The first tape section (430A) includes a first patterned data code (432A) that is indicative of a first spacing between the tape head (322) and the first tape section (430A). The second tape section (430B) includes a second patterned data code (432B) that is indicative of a second spacing between the tape head (322) and the second tape section (430B). The second patterned data code (432B) is different than the first patterned data code (432A). The diagnostic tape (318) can further include a tape head cleaning section (630F) including abrasive material (650) that is configured to move across the tape head (322) to clean the tape head (322).

  • Patent number: 8922927
Abstract: A method for inhibiting cycle slip in a tape drive having at least three channels that each utilizes a corresponding numerically controlled oscillator includes establishing a reference clock that is based on an output of the numerically controlled oscillators for at least two of the channels, comparing the output of the numerically controlled oscillator for one of the three channels with the reference clock to determine a first channel phase delta value for the one channel, and generating an error signal for the one channel if the channel phase delta value exceeds a threshold phase delta value for the one channel.

  • Publication number: 20100015368
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for of applying a sublimation transfer to a coffee cup having a handle connected at two locations to the cup. A sublimation transfer is placed around the container with a dye image an outer surface of the cup and extending beneath the handle. An elastic clamp wraps around the cup and sublimation transfer and extends beneath the handle to press the dye layer against the cup beneath the handle. The clamp has an elongated opening near one end of the clamp and the opening is placed over the handle to fasten the clamp to the cup. The wrapped cup and sublimation transfer is placed on a conveyor oven for sublimation heating, with the clamp being removed for reuse after the sublimation transfer of the dye layer onto the cup is completed.

  • Patent number: 5470781
Abstract: In an isolation trench in a silicon-on-insulator wafer, the sidewalls of the trench curve outwardly at the bottom of the trench where the top silicon layer meets the underlying oxide insulating layer. This sidewall geometry eliminates the sharp corner at the bottom of the trench. Preferably, the top edge of the trench wall is also curved.
