  • Publication number: 20090050517
Abstract: A vibration isolator device for printed wiring boards. An example vibration isolator device includes a solder tab with an elastomeric material that is adhesively attached to a first side of the solder tab. The second side of the solder tab is attached to a printed wiring board. Solder paste is pre-applied to the printed wiring board prior to attachment of the vibration isolator device. The solder tab has a U-shaped cross section.

  • Patent number: 6462811
Abstract: A system for inspecting first and second surfaces of a cutting member, such as a tooth of a carbide tooth circular saw blade, includes a support for carrying the cutting member, the cutting member being movable relative to the support to position the surfaces to be inspected within an inspection zone. First and second video cameras mounted on the apparatus relative to the inspection zone provide output signals representative of the images of the first and second surfaces, respectively. A computer responsive to the output signals generated by the first and second video cameras analyzes the output signals and calculates selected attributes of the surfaces presented for inspection. A frame grabber captures video images of the surfaces. A first video monitor coupled to the computer displays images of the surfaces being inspected while a second video monitor coupled to the computer displays graphical data relating to selected geometrical attributes of the surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20020023898
Abstract: A method of brazing a strob insert to the trailing edge of a slot in a strob circular saw blade, the strob insert having first and second, opposed, substantially parallel surfaces, the first surface of the strob insert to be brazed to the edge, comprises the steps of placing the strob insert on an electrode with the second surface of the strob insert in contact with the electrode in heat transfer relationship therewith; applying brazing paste to the first surface of the insert; positioning the electrode so that the first surface of the insert is in a brazing position relative to the edge; and passing an electrical current through the electrode to resistively heat the electrode to a temperature sufficient to cause brazing of the first surface of the strob insert to the edge.

  • Patent number: 5917502
Abstract: A graphics processing accelerator has a plurality of digital signal processors that each have an output, and an input in communication with a request bus. The digital signal processors are arranged in a peer-to-peer configuration to process, on a cyclical basis, each of a successive series of graphics requests received over a request bus. The graphics processing accelerator also may have a sequencer in communication with each digital signal processor output for ordering graphics requests processed by the digital signal processors.

  • Patent number: 4217807
Abstract: Stemware of goblets secured in adjoining positions on a mounting board in vertical and horizontal rows, with adjacent goblets rim rubable by one hand, with the goblets in the horizontal rows arranged in tones for basic chords; for example, a first row in IV chord (subdominant), the next row is V.sub.7 chord (dominant) and the third row is I chord (tonic). The goblets are tuned by a partial filling of water, and the water level and the produced note are marked on the glass. The sounding board is marked for the positioning of the tuned goblets to permit the forming of the chords and easy playing by rim rubbing the stemware glasses.
