  • Patent number: 5193884
Abstract: The present invention relates to a wheel trim member that maintains a very low profile substantially against a front or rear wheel, depending upon its application. The trim member has at least one, and preferably at least two, discs for receipt of wheel studs. This disc has external threads which are received by a disc cover which holds trim member against wheel. Lug nut covers are then placed over the remaining unencapsulated lug nuts to achieve consistent aesthetic appearance.

  • Patent number: 5096263
Abstract: A system for attachment of decorative trim members to trucks or recreational vehicles which is adapted for use with various makes of wheels. Specifically configured, trim member is placed over wheel having two opposite locator pins. Trim member is attached to locator pins using retaining clips. Trim member has further holes for receiving the lugs of the wheel. Decorative lug covers can be placed over lugs or integrally formed with trim member to cover lugs.

  • Patent number: 4932724
Abstract: A system for attachment of decorative trim members to truck and recreational vehicle wheels is adaptable for use with varying makes of wheels. Specially configured brackets and retaining clips allow the attachment system to use wheel locator pins as a basis for securing and automatically centering the attachment system on the center of the wheel. Removal of existing wheel lug nuts is not required.

  • Patent number: 4480372
Abstract: Apparatus for calibrating and testing infrared detection devices is provided. The apparatus comprises a substrate which supports a target pattern of dielectric material which is at least partially absorbing to infrared radiation. A heater is used to supply heat to the substrate. Since the substrate and dielectric material have different emissivities, an apparent temperature difference is perceived by an IR detection device. As a consequence, temperature differences as low as about 0.02.degree. C. and below can be generated for calibrating and testing IR imaging devices.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 25, 1983
Date of Patent: November 6, 1984
