Abstract: A retractable boat extension. The retractable boat extension is a platform that is attachable to a boat, such as a pontoon boat, that provides additional space to transport items or lounge upon. The platform includes a sliding mechanism having an actuator for sliding relative to the boat, pedestal mounts for attaching a plurality of interchangeable accessories thereto, such as grills, fishing chairs and food preparation tables, an outboard motor mount configured to receive a variety of outboard motors including, but not limited to, trolling motors, and a mounting bracket configured to receive a forward ramp for handicapped access to the pontoon boat.

Abstract: A device for converting a firearm to a fixed magazine is disclosed. The device includes a one-way internally threaded bolt comprising of an internally threaded section and a one-way head. The internally threaded section is able to engage with the externally threaded portion of the magazine catch and the head is configured so that a screw driver is only able to rotate the one-way internally threaded bolt in a tightening direction. A method for loading a firearm having a fixed magazine is also disclosed.

Each encryption key is forwarded to one or more base stations in the geographical area associated with the encryption key. At least one of the plurality of geographical areas that is adjacent to a first geographical area is determined, yielding one or more adjacent geographical areas, and an encryption key for at least one of the one or more adjacent geographical areas is forwarded to at least one base station covering the first geographical area.

Abstract: A home location register stores key material related to mobile stations associated with the home location register. A first visited location register associated with a first site in a first zone stores key material related to a first mobile station of the mobile stations associated with the home location register. When the first mobile station roams to a second site in a second zone associated with a second visited location register, the key material related to the first mobile station is encrypted with an interkey, yielding encrypted key material, wherein the interkey is used only by infrastructure system devices other than a mobile station for encrypting at least the key material for transport between at least the first and second zones. The encrypted key material is forwarded to the second visited location register.

Abstract: An electronic device apparatus to allow individuals to safely and securely utilize the technology and features of the device without holding in one's hand. One component of the apparatus is a container to house electronic devices. The container houses and protects an electronic device. In addition, the container allows the user to access the controls and features of the device without removal from the container. Multiple attachment points located on the perimeter of the container, in conjunction with adjustable strap system, permits the user the flexibility to secure the container to multiple points on the body or to any object. The detachable adjustable strap system permits the electronic device and container to be positioned vertically or horizontally. The electronic device apparatus can be sized to a specific specification or a universal requirement.

Abstract: A first infrastructure system device other than a mobile station generates key material and forwards the key material to a second infrastructure system device other than a mobile station. A determination is made as to whether a mobile station for which the key material is directed is active on the system, and if so the key material is forwarded to a base station where the mobile station is active. The base station forwards the key material to the mobile station.

Abstract: A first infrastructure system device other than a mobile station generates an encryption key and encrypts the encryption key with a first intrakey associated with a first zone that includes a second infrastructure system device other than a mobile station, yielding a first encrypted encryption key. The first intrakey is used only by infrastructure system devices other than a mobile station for encrypting at least the encryption key prior to transport within the first zone. The first infrastructure system device forwards the first encrypted encryption key to the second infrastructure system device.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for indicating sources of high error conditions, including out-of-range and interference conditions, to a user of a digital voice communication system. When the vocoder (206) of a communication unit (200, 450) silences due to high error conditions, a source of the high error conditions (e.g., out-of-range or interference) is determined based on the signal strength, and a source indicator (218, 220) is generated to inform the user of the source of the high error conditions. In one embodiment, where a repeater (400) is used, sources of high error conditions are detected both inbound to and outbound from the repeater. In an event of high error conditions on the inbound signal path (404), the repeater puts out a distinctive erasure (420, 422, 424) identifying the source. The communication unit (450) detects the erasure and generates a source indicator associated with the erasure.

Abstract: A generally sealed container storage and cooling chamber is disposed beneath the top surface of a piece of furniture. A container transport device is disposed in the chamber and is adapted to present one container at a time to a vertically oriented delivery device. The delivery device comprises a generally cylindrical vertical guide channel having a container release opening in its side and which communicates with the transport device. The top of the guide channel forms an access opening in the top surface of the furniture. A feed piston is slideably mounted in the guide channel and is movable between a lowered and a raised position. When the piston is in its raised position, its side wall blocks the container release opening, and its top wall forms a support for a beverage container and may also complete the top furniture surface. When the piston is in its lowered position, a beverage container is delivered by gravity through the release opening and onto the piston top wall.
