  • Publication number: 20240010425
Abstract: A grid framework structure, configured to support one or more load handling devices, includes: a first set of grid members extending in a first direction and a second set of grid members extending in a second direction, to form a grid structure having grid cells. A plurality of vertical uprights create a storage space for storing containers in a stack such that load handling devices operative on the grid structure can lift containers through a grid cell from a stack below the grid structure. The vertical uprights are arranged such that a section of the grid structure including four adjoined grid cells is supported by five or fewer vertical uprights.

  • Patent number: 7794264
Abstract: An apparatus for positioning and retaining an HDMI connector relative to an HDMI device comprises a body portion connected to the HDMI device and comprising a sidewall having an aperture through which a plug portion of the HDMI connector is insertable into a receptacle of the HDMI device and a bracket portion comprising a floor connected along a bottom edge of the sidewall and extending perpendicularly thereto. The bracket further comprises a support connected along an edge of the floor opposite the sidewall and extending upwardly from and perpendicularly to the floor and a fin connected along an edge of the support opposite the floor and extending perpendicularly to the support, the fin including a pair of openings disposed therethrough, the pair of openings corresponding to the aperture. Means are provided for securing a cable portion of the HDMI connector to the fin via the pair of openings when the plug portion is secured in the receptacle.

  • Publication number: 20050250196
Abstract: Chimeric carbohydrates produced by recombinant microorganism carrying exogenous glycosyl transferases act with or without exogenous enzymes required for synthesis or nucleotide synthesis precursors. These recombinant microorganism can be used as a means for competitively inhibiting the binding of toxins or adhesins to receptors of mucosal surfaces, especially gastrointestinal surface. In particular chimeric sugar moieties have been made for lipopolysaccharides, in recombinant microorganism that present multiple copies of the oligosaccharides. The oligosacchide moieties so presented act as receptor mimic for toxins and adhesins. A number have been synthesise and have been shown to confer protection against attack by pathogenic organisms or their products in vitro and an in vivo.

  • Publication number: 20050136424
Abstract: A member of a new class of bacterial toxin has been isolated and characterised. The bacterial toxin is of the AB5 type and is characterised in that it has a subtilase domain. It is cytotoxic to Vero cells, and toxicity in vivo in mice occurs in a number of different sites. Mutation of the serine active residue results in greater than 99% reduction in activity. The protein has been purified and antibodies have been prepared for both the A subunit and B subunits, and ELISA detection methods have been developed. The nucleic acid sequence has been determined and primers specific for the toxin have been used for a preliminary screen of a range of patient samples to ascertain the extent to which the toxin is present.
