Publication number: 20260110395Abstract: A modular quick-release system, an equipment mounting system, a modular vehicle attachment system and a method of securing containers, bags or related articles to one another or other structure. The modular quick-release system has a peg and a clip assembly. The clip assembly includes a top cover, a handle, a base and a cradle. In one form, the modular clipping system is used to provide quick and secure engagement of the container, bag or related article to, and disengagement from, a torso-mountable webbing or a wall-mountable structure such as those found on a vehicle.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 1, 2025Publication date: April 23, 2026Inventor: James Patrick Bowerman

Publication number: 20250378261Abstract: A clipping apparatus and a stud fitting. The clipping apparatus has a top cover, a midsection having a first grip and a locking mechanism having a second grip. The top cover has elongated arms define a top cover upper surface and which are pivotably secured to one another to define between them a cover opening for receiving a male fitting. The second grip is aligned with the first grip to form a locking opening between them, while the locking mechanism has an open position in which the second grip is at a farther position from the first grip and a closed position in which the second grip is at a closer position to the first grip. A pull handle may be included such that upon activation allows the clipping apparatus to accept the male fitting into the cover opening which upon release of the pull handle locks the male fitting. The stud fitting defines a peg device that can be coupled to the clipping apparatus and an L-track such as those used on a vehicle.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 24, 2025Publication date: December 11, 2025Inventor: James Patrick Bowerman

Publication number: 20250215921Abstract: A clipping apparatus is disclosed. The clipping apparatus connects on the Z-axis but can be activated for release on either the X or Y-axis. The system also has a self-locking mechanism on the handle to create a secure connection along the Z-axis. It is comprised of a first member comprising a first cavity and a first handle and a second member comprising a second cavity and a second handle. The first member and second member are mated to a spring connection mechanism and a base plate, thereby forming an opening. When the first handle and the second handle are pushed inwards, a male fitting is accepted into the opening and locked into the opening when the first handle and the second handle are released.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 24, 2025Publication date: July 3, 2025Inventor: James Patrick Bowerman

Publication number: 20240315428Abstract: A configurable bag includes a bag body, a removable faceplate, horizontal and vertical straps, a cover attachment and storage compartments. The bag body has a front panel, a back panel and sides. The removable faceplate extends over at least a portion of the back panel, while the horizontal and vertical straps are formed on the front panel to define a webbed pattern. The cover attachment connects the back panel and the removable faceplate. Upon folding the bag body about its elongate axis, the back panel and attached removable faceplate are folded on themselves to transition the bag body from a first configuration to a second configuration. Each of the storage compartments have corresponding straps that may form an interwoven cooperation with the webbed pattern such that the storage compartments are situated on opposing sides of the foldable bag body while the foldable bag body is maintained in the second configuration.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 3, 2024Publication date: September 26, 2024Inventor: James Patrick Bowerman
