  • Patent number: 11203261
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for controlling an airflow to an engine via a primary air induction pathway or a secondary air induction pathway, where the secondary air induction pathway routes the airflow to the engine via a deployable snorkel system. Thus, in one example, a method comprises routing the airflow to the engine solely via the primary air induction pathway by commanding open a first air inlet valve and commanding closed a second air inlet valve, and responsive to a request to switch the routing, commanding closed the first air inlet valve and commanding open the second air inlet valve. In this way, the snorkel system may selectively be used in response to requests from a vehicle operator.

  • Patent number: 9527204
Abstract: A fixture for selectably supporting a number of dissimilar workpieces. The fixture includes a frame with one or more rotatable workpiece tooling assemblies. Each workpiece tooling assembly has multiple faces to which is mounted workpiece support tooling. The workpiece support tooling may be designed to support dissimilar workpieces, such that a single fixture may support any of a given number of workpieces by simply rotating the workpiece tooling assembly or assemblies until the corresponding support tooling is properly positioned. A locking assembly may be provided to releasably secure each workpiece tooling assembly in the various support orientations that coincide with each of its faces.

  • Patent number: 9469016
Abstract: A fixture for selectably supporting a number of dissimilar workpieces in a substantially vertical orientation. The fixture includes a frame with one or more rotatable and vertically-oriented workpiece tooling assemblies. A locking assembly, such as a cam-locking assembly, may be provided to releasably secure each workpiece tooling assembly in the various support orientations that coincide with each of its faces.
