  • Patent number: 8808029
Abstract: A high density connector structure for transmitting high frequency signals having a first sub-assembly, a second sub-assembly, a shield plate, and a shield shell is disclosed. The first sub-assembly has a plurality of first contacts held in a first insulator, and the second sub-assembly has a plurality of second contacts held in a second insulator. The shield plate is positioned between the first and second contacts. At least one resilient arm extends from said shield plate and contacts at least one of the first contacts of the first sub-assembly. The shield shell at least partially surrounds the periphery of the first and second sub-assemblies.

  • Publication number: 20140080344
Abstract: The invention relates to a card edge connector including an insulating body, a first fixing part, a second fixing part and a plurality of terminals. The terminals are respectively fixing on the first fixing part and the second fixing part in an insert molding manner. The first fixing part and the second fixing part are received and arranged in the insulating body. The first fixing part and the second fixing part respectively has at least one hook. At least one insertion slot is inwardly formed in the insulating body at a position corresponding to the hook; and the hooks are respectively pushed and fastened inwards towards the insertion slots, so that the first fixing part and the second fixing part are assembled and located on the insulating body.

  • Publication number: 20140030927
Abstract: A card edge connector is provided, including an insulating body, a plurality of terminals and a pair of ear clips. The plurality of terminals and the ear clips are received and arranged in the insulating body. Each terminal comprises a fixed part, with a contact part formed by extending from one end of the fixed part, and a welding part formed by extending from another end of the fixed part. An extending part is arranged between the fixed part and the contact part, and at least one coupling protrusion is arranged outwards on the fixed part in a protruding way. The coupling protrusion is in interference fit with the insulating body, and the impedance value of each terminal is adjusted by changing the appearance and size of the coupling protrusion, where an optimal area of one of the coupling protrusions is 0.3 mm*0.7 mm.

  • Patent number: 6018456
Abstract: An enclosure system for receiving a number of plug in computer peripheral devices, such as hard disk drives in a disk array, utilizes front and rear cages or enclosures that are separated by a vertical backplane having internal circuit interconnections and multi-pin docking connectors on each face. A front bezel provides access to the backplane through the front cage enclosure, so that trays containing the drives can be inserted and plugged into the connectors. The vertical spacing is arranged to be modifiable, so that different numbers of higher profile and lower profile devices can be used. Power supplies, battery back up units and a cooling fan device, all arranged in sub-modules insertable through the rear open face of the power supply enclosure, interconnect with connectors on the back face of the backplane, and cooling air is circulated throughout from front to rear, via apertures in the backplane.
