  • Publication number: 20240077573
Abstract: This application relates to a location measuring system including a driving-type working device. In one aspect, the system includes a data receiving unit that receives marking data about a working surface, a marking unit that executes a marking operation with respect to the working surface corresponding to the marking data, and a scanning unit that scans a target space. The system may also include a scan condition setting unit that sets a movement path of the driving-type working device corresponding to the marking data, sets a scanning position for scanning the target space in consideration of space map data corresponding to the target space, and sets a scan angle of the scanning unit at the scanning position. The system may further include a position detecting unit that compares scan data acquired via the scanning unit with the space map data to detect a position of the driving-type working device.

  • Patent number: 11920088
Abstract: A method of continuously recovering hydrocarbons from carbon ores can include providing first and second vessels containing rubblized carbon ore. A cooling fuel gas can be introduced into the first vessel. The cooling fuel gas can include oxygen and a recycle gas from the second vessel, which includes hydrocarbons and oxidation products. The oxygen can be consumed through oxidation in an oxidation zone in the first vessel. The temperature of the oxidation zone can be controlled by limiting the oxygen concentration in the cooling fuel gas. This can produce a hot oxidation product gas that heats rubblized carbon ore in a pyrolysis zone downstream of the oxidation zone. Gaseous and vapor hydrocarbons can be produced in the pyrolysis zone. The vapor hydrocarbons can be condensed in a condensing zone downstream of the pyrolysis zone and then collected. The remaining gaseous hydrocarbons and oxidation products can be recycled as the recycle gas.

  • Publication number: 20230332274
Abstract: A method of recovering rare earth elements and other trace metals from based ores can include providing a body of rubblized carbon-based ore. The rubblized carbon-based ore can include carbonates and rare earth elements. The carbonates in the ore can be decomposed at an elevated decomposition temperature and an oxygen deficient atmosphere to form an enriched spent ore and carbon dioxide.

  • Patent number: 10334461
Abstract: An automated solution for measuring the performance of one or more selected apps across a wireless network, from a given location. The device of the invention, which may be termed a ‘probe’, performs the automation and validation of a range of apps with their respective cloud services, the probe including a local interface for receiving from a remote controller the credentials intended for testing the target app service if applicable. The invention can be used to generate an alert when the performance of a particular app at the location fails to meet certain criteria. It can also be sued to generate a report relating to the app performance at the location.

  • Patent number: 8714230
Abstract: A fabric security barrier, a system and/or a method impede entry into a space. The fabric security barrier, the system and/or the method are installed adjacent to an entry point of the space. A tarp having a reinforced webbing on one side obscured from view is extended and/or retracted by a deployment system within the space. A steel cable is laminated between the reinforced webbing and the tarp. To enter the space through the entry point, an intruder must compromise a door or a window, the tarp, the reinforced webbing and/or the cable which may reduce an amount of time that the intruder may have to perpetrate a crime in the space and/or to flee before being noticed and/or apprehended.

  • Publication number: 20050007448
Abstract: The invention is directed to a remote 3-D imaging system which uses a novel illumination source to establish the relationship of the image features to the system, which is displayed by virtue of calculations. In addition to static surfaces, moving surfaces may be studied and corrections due to turbidity and platform position are also easily compensated for. The instant system may also contain a plurality of sensing systems based on light, including traditional reflective or elastic scattering and novel fluorescent or non-elastic scattering still and video imaging systems, including time-gated systems.

  • Publication number: 20040109586
Abstract: The instrument of the instant invention provides for a fluidic plankton or other micro-particle analyzer that is capable of data reduction via a novel reduction circuit for better resolution in identification and quantification of the particles. By virtue of using line scan or similar cameras the instant system is capable of high resolution without as much interference as experienced with two-dimensional systems. The data reduction circuit also enables the microscopic material to be analyzed and recorded with better adaptability to current computer storage systems.
