Publication number: 20250163720Abstract: A camping assembly (110) comprising a primary inflatable camping structure in the form of an awning (112). The awning (112) may be releasably secured to a side of a caravan (102) or to the side of a tent/trailer tent/folding camper. The awning (112) comprises a plurality of elongate inflatable elements (114) or air poles. The awning (112) is provided with an embedded or integrated pump module (80) for inflating the inflatable elements of the awning (112). In this embodiment, the pump module (80) is disposed at a lower end (119) of the first upright inflatable element (114a).Type: ApplicationFiled: January 19, 2023Publication date: May 22, 2025Applicant: PURPLE LINE LIMITEDInventors: Jonathan Harrison, Toby Whitmore, James Payne

Publication number: 20250101765Abstract: The present invention provides a camping assembly (10) comprising an awning (18) which is releasably secured to a side of a caravan although in other embodiments the awning (18) may be releasably secured to the side of a tent/trailer tent/folding camper. The awning comprises a canopy and a network of inflatable air poles (26). The awning may be inflated by a removable pump or by an embedded pump or by air donated from a further inflatable camping structure. The awning comprises a donor valve (16). The donor valve is arranged to inflate a camping accessory (20, 22, 24) by donating a volume of air from the air poles to the camping accessory. In this way, the camping accessory can be inflated very quickly and the removal of the air does not significantly impact the structural stability of the awning. This provides a readily available and accessible air source.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 19, 2023Publication date: March 27, 2025Applicant: PURPLE LINE LIMITEDInventors: Jonathan Harrison, Toby Whitmore, James Payne

Patent number: 10543024Abstract: An adjustable spine distraction implant alleviates pain associated with spinal stenosis and facet arthropathy by expanding the volume and/or cross sectional area in the spinal canal and/or neural foramen. The adjustable implant provides a spinal extension inhibitor. The implant includes elliptical or oval shaped adjustable member or spacer for positioning between and adjustably spacing apart the spinous processes.Type: GrantFiled: July 1, 2016Date of Patent: January 28, 2020Assignee: LIFE SPINE, INC.Inventors: David Lee, James Payne

Patent number: 10372439Abstract: Notification of registration of a mobile device with femto coverage for firmware content management is provided. An attachment component that administers location of mobile devices or a femto access point (AP) conveys a notification to a network platform that manages firmware content updates when a mobile device for which firmware update is available hands off from wireless macro coverage onto femto coverage through the femto AP. The notification is triggered in response to firmware update notification received by the attachment component, or an update flag received by the femto AP. Upon reception of the notification, to exploit wireline bandwidth, the network platform delivers firmware content(s) update through backhaul link to the femto AP to which the mobile device is registered. Femto APs not provisioned to serve a mobile device can be incentivized to authorize the mobile device for coverage and thus facilitate firmware updates.Type: GrantFiled: September 6, 2018Date of Patent: August 6, 2019Assignee: AT&T MOBILITY II LLCInventors: John Lewis, James Payne

Publication number: 20100009793Abstract: A tensioning apparatus includes a first C-shaped beam frame spaced apart from a second C-shaped beam frame. A first air cylinder is suspended from the first beam frame and a second air cylinder is mounted on the second beam frame. A carriage assembly is situated adjacent to the first and the second air cylinders. At least two pairs of guide members are supported on opposing corners of a support member of the carriage assembly. The pairs of guide members guide the carriage assembly along a longitudinal extent of the first and the second beam frames. The guide members travel along distal edges of flanges of the beam frames. A power operated means actuates movement of the carriage assembly along the first and second beam frames. A rope guide sheave is supported by the carriage assembly for free rotation.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 2, 2009Publication date: January 14, 2010Inventors: James Payne, Keith Crinkey

Publication number: 20070039173Abstract: In a method and apparatus for staking a hardened shaft in bores in a hydraulic lifter body, the shaft is inserted into the bores such that the shaft ends are substantially flush with the bore exits which are slightly chamfered to receive staked material displaced from the shaft. Mechanical rams that also define a first electrode are advanced axially of the shaft into contact with the shaft ends. A second electrode is brought into contact with the lifter body. Electric current is passed between the electrodes, causing resistive heating of the body and the shaft ends. The time and applied amperage are sufficient to cause softening of the shaft ends, at which time the current is switched off, and the first electrode is then driven against the shaft ends, causing the ends to be radially expanded into the chamfers. The remainder of the shaft is not softened nor retempered.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 4, 2005Publication date: February 22, 2007Inventors: Thomas Braun, Venkatasubramanian Ananthanarayanan, James Payne
