  • Publication number: 20250056156
Abstract: A computer having a system for mitigating mechanical rattle arising due to a mechanical coupling of an audio output transducer to a part of the computer device, the system comprising: a processing subsystem configured to receive an input audio signal and to output a drive signal for driving the audio output transducer to produce a transducer output, wherein the processing subsystem is configured to selectively apply an attenuation function to the input audio signal to attenuate a signal component of the input audio signal at a frequency that causes mechanical rattle in the computer; and an analyser subsystem configured to receive the input audio signal and to output a control signal to the processing subsystem to control application of the attenuation function to the input audio signal by the processing subsystem based on a spectral content of the received input audio signal; wherein the attenuation function is based on characteristic acoustic behaviour of the computer.

  • Publication number: 20240349832
Abstract: An apparatus for use with an athletic glove which helps stabilize a digit, in particular, a thumb, as a hand is moved in a variety of motions, such as swinging a golf club. The apparatus has a sleeve at a first end in which a portion of the digit may be placed. The body of the apparatus is positioned across the palm side of the hand, around a lateral side thereof, and around the backside thereof. A second end of the apparatus may be inserted through an opening in an athletic glove, between the wrist strap and wrist flap thereof. The second end may have a fastener configured to engage fasteners of the wrist strap and wrist flap of the glove. A stabilizing insert may be engaged with the body of the apparatus and partially inserted into the sleeve thereof, before being placed around a thumb.

  • Patent number: 11843501
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and computer-readable media for determining instances of parity drift in target cloud computing systems as well as determining when instances of parity drift require addressing. For example, in various implementations, a cloud parity drift detection system compiles information about services, configurations, versions, etc. along with additional data from a reference cloud system into a job package and provides the job package to one or more target cloud computing systems. The cloud parity drift detection system can then utilize the job package to compare corresponding information on the reference cloud system to a target data set of the target cloud system to determine instances of parity drift at the target cloud system. Additionally, the cloud parity drift detection system can determine and act when instances of parity drift require addressing.

  • Patent number: 10069560
Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus for integrated resource planning for satellite systems are disclosed. The method involves obtaining user communication demand for at least one region. The method further involves generating a beam map comprising at least one beam for each of the regions according to the user communication demand. Also, the method involves generating at least one configuration profile for the satellite system by using the beam map. Additionally, the method involves performing a performance analysis by comparing: the user communication demand versus one of the configuration profiles, the user communication demand versus actual communication demand, one of the configuration profiles versus the actual communication demand, and/or one of the configuration profiles versus another one of the configuration profiles.

  • Publication number: 20180181269
Abstract: In an embodiment, a content assembly platform (CAP) presents a structured user interface arranged for structured receipt of authored content. The CAP receives content for a content piece via the structured user interface. The CAP presents the received content via the structured user interface according to a set of predetermined content-display rules. The CAP stores the received content in a content management system (CMS) for online publication of the content piece according to the predetermined set of content-display rules. The CAP receives an instruction to publish the content piece to a print-production system, and responsively packages the received content in a print-production-system-readable format and transmits the packaged content to the print-production system.
