Abstract: A method for generating and maintaining hierarchical tags with community-based ratings is provided. Tags for media streams are organized into a hierarchical format. Users may select tags from the hierarchical tag database that describes a particular multimedia content. If the user is unable to locate a desired tag, the user may submit a new tag. Upon submission of the new tag, a librarian approves the tag before storing and placing the tag in the hierarchical tag database. Users are also able to rate the quality of the association between the tag and the multimedia content. If a tag is rated low, the tag may be removed from the hierarchical tag database. If the tag is rated highly, display of the tag in a list of tags becomes more prominent.

Abstract: A system, method, and server for optimizing deployment of a containerized application. The system includes a machine and a server configured to receive optimization criteria related to the containerized application, the optimization criteria including affecting parameters, effected metrics, and stopping criteria. The server is further configured to transmit at least one value of the affecting parameter to the machine, receive results of a trial of the containerized application performed by the machine according to the transmitted at least one value, the results of the trial including an empirical value of the effected metrics, update an optimization model based on the trial results, compare the results of the trial and the updated optimization model to the one or more stopping criteria, and transmit an optimized one of the at least one value of the affecting parameters to the machine for deployment of the containerized application.

Abstract: A butt retrieval system having a butt retrieval receptacle supported outside the main footprint of an extrusion press such that maintenance and/or repair of the system is simplified. The butt retrieval system includes a butt retrieval receptacle moveable between a butt retrieving position and a butt unloading position. The butt retrieval receptable has a cantilevered arm extending from a base portion of the butt retrieval receptacle in a direction towards the centerline of the associated extrusion press.

The transverse channel has a size and shape to at least partially accommodate selective insertion of a cable to permit flush mounting of the bottom surface of the elongated member to the fractured sections of the broken bone simultaneously with flush wrapping of the cable around an external surface of the fractured sections of the broken bone. The elongated member and the cable cooperate to support the broken bone as an implant splint.

Abstract: A pet ventilation panel for a vehicle window opening is disclosed. The vehicle window opening is typically defined by a retractable windowpane movable within a window frame having upper, lower and opposed side frame members. The ventilation panel includes a selectively removable window insert formed from a single sheet of material. The insert has an upper edge adapted for engagement with an upper frame member of a vehicle window frame, and side edges adapted for engagement with side frame members of the vehicle window frame to cover at least a portion of the vehicle window opening. A central opening is defined by a continuous edge in the insert. The opening is sized and shaped to permit penetration thereof by the head of an animal disposed within the vehicle without permitting passage of the animal's body therethrough to prevent inadvertent escape from the vehicle by the animal. A mechanism is provided for maintaining the insert in position within the vehicle window opening.
