Abstract: An information processing system implements an intelligent remediation system for security-related events. The intelligent remediation system comprises a classifier configured to process information characterizing the events in order to generate respective risk scores, and a data store coupled to the classifier and configured to store feedback from one or more users regarding the risk scores. The classifier is configured to utilize the feedback regarding the risk scores to learn riskiness of particular events and to adjust its operation based on the learned riskiness, such that the risk score generated by the classifier for a given one of the events is based at least in part on the feedback received regarding risk scores generated for one or more previous ones of the events. A user interface is provided to allow one or more users to supply the feedback regarding the risk scores.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus and articles of manufacture for assisted learning for document classification are provided herein. A method includes analyzing a collection of documents within a document repository to identify a set of multiple documents corresponding to a sample document, presenting at least a portion of the set of multiple documents to a user for user classification, and calculating a confidence measure based on the user classification of the at least a portion of the set of multiple documents, wherein said confidence measure corresponds to a level of accuracy by which a document classification algorithm detects one or more documents related to the sample document.

Abstract: A method for playing a wagering game. The method includes conducting a basic game having a randomly selected outcome. The randomly selected outcome is selected from a plurality of outcomes and is indicated by a plurality of symbols. Each of the plurality of symbols has a first function. A side-wager option is presented that allows a player to change a function of a certain one of the plurality of symbols to one of a plurality of second functions. In response to the player selecting the side-wager option, one of the plurality of second functions is selected. Also, the second function is attributed to the certain one of the plurality of symbols when the randomly selected outcome is indicated.

A display displays a plurality of symbols located thereon during the basic game. The symbols indicate a randomly-selected outcome selected from a plurality of outcomes in response to the wager. The plurality of outcomes includes a bonus-triggering outcome. A set of available game-enhancement parameters is displayed and the player is provided an option of submitting a second wager to purchase at least one of the set of available game-enhancement parameters. The set of available game-enhancement parameters provides an enhancement selected from the group consisting of: additional bonus-triggering outcomes providing a higher probability of triggering the bonus game, and enhanced awards during the bonus game.

Abstract: A computer system and method for installing a software product. A computer system includes a client coupled to a server. The client obtains an installation package of files to be used to install the software product and for each file, determines if there is a later file version available. The client creates a temporary folder. For each file, if a later version is not available, the client adds a link to the temporary folder that refers to the file in the installation package and if a later version of a file is available, adds a link to the temporary folder that refers to the later version of the file. The client executes an installation operation on the temporary folder. For only those files for which a later file version is available, the client may add links that refer to files downloaded from a server and stored in an update folder.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are resinous dispersions suitable for use in an electrodepositable coating composition. The resinous dispersions include: (a) an epoxy-amine adduct formed as the reaction product of reactants comprising (i) an epoxy-containing compound having at least one active hydroxyl group; and (ii) an amine-containing compound having a primary and a tertiary amine group; (b) an acid; (c) a second epoxy-containing compound; and (d) water. The resinous dispersion may be introduced into cationic electrodepositable coating compositions. Coated substrates formed with such cationic electrodepositable coating compositions may achieve 60° gloss readings of 3 or less at conventional film builds.

In one embodiment, the method includes selecting a pre-recorded media segment from a set of pre-recorded media segments, wherein the selecting is performed by a gaming device. The method also includes receiving, in the gaming device, the pre-recorded media segment and presenting the pre-recorded media segment.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a gaming terminal and a method of playing a wagering game having a parlay feature. Using the parlay feature, a player can place a wager that is greater than a maximum wager allowed at the gaming terminal. In addition, the parlay feature allows a player to wager a portion of the player's prior winnings, instead of the entire amount. Furthermore, the parlay feature can be saved and used in a later gaming session at the same or different gaming terminal.

After at least a first one of the moveable reels has started spinning, an opportunity to make an additional wager via the wager-input device is presented while at least one of the moveable reels is still spinning. The wagering game includes a plurality of symbols arranged along one or more paylines that indicate a randomly selected outcome of the wagering game in response to a wager input. A winning combination of symbols along the paylines may be arranged in either a left-to-right order or a right-to-left order. In one embodiment, a player makes a first wager input that is associated with one or more paylines corresponding to a left-to-right arrangement of symbols. A player is then allowed to make a second wager input that is associated with one or more paylines corresponding to a right-to-left arrangement of symbols. The second wager input associated with right-to-left paylines is not equal to, and may be less than, the first wager input associated with left-to-right paylines.
