  • Publication number: 20260073753
Abstract: A roulette wheel having a rotating roulette wheel including upper and bottom surfaces, pockets on the upper surfaces and symbols arranged around and corresponding to the pockets. Triggers on the bottom surfaces trigger sensors. A computer receives sensor data and image data from video images of the upper surfaces, extrapolates rotational data associated with a location of each pocket from the sensor data, outputs the rotational data embedded in the image data, and generates random data. Player stations enable players to play by selecting symbols and generating playing data based on the symbol selection. Each player station receives the rotational data embedded in the image data, generates graphical data based on the random data and the playing data, and displays the graphical data on a display overlayed on the image data and synchronized to movement of the upper surfaces in the image data based on the rotational data.

  • Publication number: 20250356720
Abstract: A roulette wheel system and method of using are disclosed. A roulette wheel may include a rotatable rim, a controller, and an optical display system. The optical display system may be configured to project a lighting effect on a top surface of the roulette wheel. The lighting effect corresponds to bet information. As the bet information changes the lighting effect is dynamically updated. A controller may provide signal content to the optical display system to produce the signal content.

  • Publication number: 20250118133
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for roulette gaming systems including an automated roulette wheel and a plurality of player stations having a display providing a gaming interface to wager on roulette gaming events at the automated roulette wheel. Embodiments may include a computing device to provide the gaming interface, set a betting window, receive at least one bet from a player station, determine a type of roulette ball (e.g., normal or multiplier) to be launched into the roulette wheel for the gaming event, a random set of symbols and a separate multiplier value for each symbol in the set of symbols. Payouts are based on the result of the roulette event, and when the result is a symbol in the set of symbols, the multiplier value associated with the symbol.

  • Publication number: 20250061783
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for operating roulette games. A betting interface on a player station may include a first betting layout to receive a bet corresponding to a first roulette game, and a second betting layout to receive a bet corresponding to a second roulette game. A timing of a first betting window and a second window may be alternated so that the first betting window enables a bet acquisition corresponding to a round of a first roulette game, and the second betting window enables a bet acquisition corresponding to a round of the second roulette game. A first roulette ball, corresponding to a round of the first roulette game may be launched when the second betting window is open, and a second roulette ball, corresponding to a round of the second roulette game may be launched when the first betting window is open for a new round.

  • Publication number: 20240420538
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for operating roulette games. Bet information may be acquired from user input provided at a graphical user interface. The bet information may include a wager associated with a first set of symbols. A first roulette ball and a second roulette ball may be asynchronously launched on a roulette wheel. A first symbol associated with a final position of the first roulette ball may determined, and the ball is stored in a sub-pocket beneath a central cone of the roulette wheel prior to the second ball reaching a final position. A second symbol associated with the final position of the second roulette ball may be determined. An animation indicative of a payout based on the bet information, the first symbol, and the second symbol may be provided on the graphical user interface.

  • Publication number: 20190145605
Abstract: In one aspect, an optical lens assembly (herein referred to also as an optic) is provided that comprises a plurality of lenses (or lens segments) adapted to receive light from a light source, each of said lenses (or lens segments) having an input surface and an output surface and a lateral surface extending between the input and output surfaces. The lenses are arranged relative to one another and positioned relative to the light source such that each of the lenses receives at its input surface a different portion of light emitted by the source, e.g., each lens receives at its input surface light emitted by the source into an angular subtense (solid angle) different than an angular subtense associated with another lens. Each lens (or lens segment) guides at least a portion of the received light to its output surface via reflection, e.g., via total internal reflection (TIR).

  • Patent number: 9146016
Abstract: Optics and optical devices and systems are disclosed that employ a plurality of refractive and/or reflective optical elements, such as lenses and mirrors, with different shapes to achieve a desired illumination pattern. In various aspects, a plurality of lenses in which at least two of the lenses have different boundary shapes are arranged, e.g., according to a predefined pattern, to receive light from one or more light sources and to redirect the received light to form collectively a desired far-field illumination pattern. For example, the lenses can be configured such that the far-field illumination pattern has a boundary shape that is different from the boundary shape of a far-field illumination pattern that can be provided individually by the lenses.
