  • Publication number: 20220346998
Abstract: A mesh element having a mesh gauge selected to control flow of materials therethrough. The mesh element is implantable into an anatomical structure upstream of a body passage or within a body passage to control flow of materials through the body passage. The mesh element may be coupled to a support structure to facilitate anchoring of the mesh element in place relative to the body passage. The support structure may have a lumen defined therethrough to allow flow of materials through the body passage, with the mesh element regulating the flow of materials into the lumen. The mesh element alternatively may be directly coupled to an anatomical structure upstream of a body passage to regulate or determine flow of materials through the body passage.

  • Publication number: 20220292429
Abstract: A machine-implemented method of monitoring a cotton crop. The method comprising collecting cotton growing data from a plurality of cotton growers and storing same in a database stored in at least one computer. Passing the cotton growing data as simulation parameters to a crop model stored in the at least one computer or another computer connected thereto, in which at least some of the cotton growing data are variables treated as representative crop profiles. Simulating events for the cotton crop based on the cotton growing data. At least some key establishment variables of the cotton crop are initially provided to the crop model for initially estimating a simulated profile of the cotton crop that include an estimated end of season yield of the cotton crop.

  • Publication number: 20220192854
Abstract: The present disclosure is related to medical devices, stents, occlusion devices, and the like, to occlude, limit, or otherwise facilitate a regulated fluid flow between body lumens. A medical device may be a pyloric occlusion device with first and second configurations. In the second configuration, the elongate body may comprise a first retention member, a second retention member, and a cylindrical saddle region configured to span a pyloric sphincter. The first retention member and the second retention member each include an inner wall, an outwardly circumferential wall, and an outer wall, a first interface connecting the inner wall and the outwardly circumferential wall, and a second interface connecting the outwardly circumferential wall and the outer wall. At least one of the outwardly circumferential wall or the interface of either the first retention member or the second retention member is configured to appose a pyloric antrum wall.

  • Publication number: 20220061853
Abstract: An occlusion device or plug having a proximal plug section and a distal plug section. The plug sections may each be shifted between an unexpanded configuration and an expanded configuration at the deployment site to occlude the deployment site. A tubular member such as a silicone tube may be used to form an occlusion device or plug shiftable or expandable into a desired configuration. An intermediate section between a proximal plug section and a distal plug section may be configured to be manipulated at least to shift at least one of the plug sections from an expanded configuration to an unexpanded configuration. A pair of stents may be coupled together via an intermediate section in such manner such that manipulation of the intermediate section causes at least one of the stents to shift from an expanded configuration to an unexpanded configuration.

  • Patent number: 11023413
Abstract: A method of operating a system comprising multiple processor tiles divided into a plurality of domains wherein within each domain the tiles are connected to one another via a respective instance of a time-deterministic interconnect and between domains the tiles are connected to one another via a non-time-deterministic interconnect. The method comprises: performing a compute stage, then performing a respective internal barrier synchronization within each domain, then performing an internal exchange phase within each domain, then performing an external barrier synchronization to synchronize between different domains, then performing an external exchange phase between the domains.

  • Patent number: 10540614
Abstract: An automated kiosk and related apparatus provide check-in and boarding services to energy sector passengers, such as helicopter passengers. Preferably, the kiosk and related apparatus can take and store a picture of the passenger, calculate and/or measure the weight of the passenger and the passenger's luggage, print luggage tags and boarding printouts, check third parties' databases (such as a no-fly list (NFL)) for approval for the passenger's flight and can transmit data to another location (server, third party employer, pilot).

  • Patent number: 10369462
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention enable rich control input data to control video games that are remotely executed. Rich control input includes three-dimensional image data, color video, audio, device orientation data, and touch input. A remotely-executed video game is one executed on a server or other computing device that is networked to a client device receiving the rich control input. Rich control input includes more data than can be uploaded to a game server without degrading game performance. Embodiments of the present invention preprocess the rich control data on the client and into data that may be uploaded to the game server. The rich input stream may be processed in a general way or in a game-specific way.
