  • Publication number: 20020126702
Abstract: The present invention provides methods and apparatus for creating a Program Association Table (PAT) for a reduced portion of a multiplexed data stream, when the multiplexed data stream has been reduced, for example, to carry fewer services over a cable television plant. More particularly, the present invention provides methods and apparatus for creating a PAT for a desired combination of multiplexed data stream subgroups contained within an incoming data stream, when the incoming multiplexed data stream is reduced. The invention enables a new PAT to be output which correctly corresponds to the services in a reduced data stream (e.g., for cable-side transmissions). The present invention is particularly useful when reducing high data rate satellite television data streams for cable-side transmission.

  • Patent number: 4677991
Abstract: A pair of elongated, generally transversely triangular deflector members are attachable to opposite, upstanding sidewalls of the foraminous, platform-like cleaning shoe of a combine for the purpose of preventing disproportionate accumulation and build-up of crop materials on the downhill side of the cleaning shoe when the combine is performing harvesting operations on sidehill slopes. The deflector members are fixed to such sidewalls for reciprocation with the shoe during agitation thereof and are provided with upwardly and inwardly extending baffle surfaces having the ability to redirect crop materials and air currents back toward the central portion of the shoe to counteract the effective gravity tending to cause the disproportionate accumulation of materials against the downhill sidewall.

  • Patent number: 4023590
Abstract: An integral passageway is formed in a manhole construction to establish communication between an upper inlet to the manhole and a bottom outlet. Precast sections having such a passageway formed therein may be employed to build a desired height of the manhole, an upper one of the sections having an inlet for connection to a service line and the precast sections being stacked such that the upright passageways therein are in vertical alignment.
