  • Publication number: 20240148429
Abstract: A method for determining motional branch current in an ultrasonic transducer of an ultrasonic surgical device over multiple frequencies of a transducer drive signal. The method may comprise, at each of a plurality of frequencies of the transducer drive signal, oversampling a current and voltage of the transducer drive signal, receiving, by a processor, the current and voltage samples, and determining, by the processor, the motional branch current based on the current and voltage samples, a static capacitance of the ultrasonic transducer and the frequency of the transducer drive signal.

  • Patent number: 6874985
Abstract: A captive nut assembly that allows removal of one or more workpieces and/or provides access to an area between a plurality of workpieces is provided. The captive nut assembly includes a screw with an elongated shank that is adapted to be located in an opening of one or more workpieces and terminates at one end in an enlarged head. The shank has a threaded portion adapted to be secured to an other workpiece. The captive nut assembly also includes a captive nut that is rotatably mounted on the threaded portion of the screw and moveable along the shank of the screw with the head of the screw being located within the bore of the captive nut.

  • Patent number: 4552010
Abstract: An improved pulling head is provided for setting blinds fasteners, such as by pulling the setting pin of a blind rivet or the like, wherein the pulling head is rapidly and easily adjustable for use with blind fasteners of different sizes or types. The improved pulling head comprises an elongated support housing carrying a sliding draw bolt assembly for grasping and pulling a setting pin inserted into a nose end of the support housing through a selected one of a plurality of head inserts of selected different sizes or types. The head inserts are carried by a generally cone-shaped turret cap mounted at the support housing nose end for rotation about an axis offset from the direction of sliding draw bolt assembly movement thereby permitting the selected head insert to be rotated to an operative position in front of the draw bolt assembly and the remaining nonselected head inserts to be stationed in inoperative positions spaced from contact with the structure being fastened.
