Abstract: Disclosed is a Once-Through Steam Generator (OTSG) coil (52) and method, comprising a plurality of vertically arranged serpentine conduits (90) in a horizontal heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) that replaces a traditional natural circulation HP evaporator for producing supercritical steam. The OTSG comprises a lower equalization header system (130) that promotes system stability in multiple operating conditions. The equalization header allows a partial flow of fluid from the lower serpentine curved flow path (120) through an equalization conduit (125) into the equalization header (130) Disclosed also are: a flow restriction device in serpentine conduits; drainage structure from serpentine conduits through the equalization header, a drainage expansion section to accommodate stresses, and drainage bypass connections; and flow through serpentine conduits in upstream and downstream directions, mixed flow directions and longitudinally staggered directions.

Abstract: An assembly includes a threaded male connector, a threaded female connector, and an adapter configured to be threadably connected to each of the threaded male connector and the threaded female connector. The adapter is configured such that at least one of the threaded male connector and the threaded female connector can be disconnected from the adapter by rotating a portion of the adapter relative to the threaded male connector and the threaded female connector while holding the threaded male connector and the threaded female connector positionally fixed relative to one another.

Abstract: A stand base includes a low-profile body with a top side, bottom side and faces connecting the bottom side to the top side; at least one fastener positioned at the top side and configured to couple a shaft to the body in a raised orientation; and a solid flat primary plate extending out from one of the faces. The top side, bottom side and faces each have a planar surface. The primary plate has an upper surface and lower surface that are planar, the lower surface of the primary plate and the bottom surface of the body providing an even ground-engaging surface. A height of the primary plate is less than a height of the body. A solid flat secondary plate is also disposed on a side of the body opposite from the primary plate, a height of the secondary plate being less than the height of the body.

Abstract: A retention and rotation assembly includes a first support having a first bore that extends along an axis AA. A lug is received in the first bore and is rotatable relative to the first support about the axis AA. The assembly includes a second support having a second bore. An inside surface of the second bore is engageable with an outside surface of the lug, the second support is fixed relative to the lug about the axis AA when second support is engaged with the lug. A locking element extends through a bore in the lug and into at least a portion of the second support. A rotation of the locking element in a first direction about the axis AA increases a friction between the lug and the first support thereby inhibiting rotation of the lug relative to the first support about the axis AA.
