  • Publication number: 20170185742
Abstract: Patient demographics gathered from a variety of sources are used to create one or more cumulative risk factors that is used to configure a set of initial drug delivery rules controlling factors such as dosing limits, lockouts, alarm thresholds, and informational displays. These initial drug delivery rules may then be modified during a procedure according to a pharmacodynamic profile that is created, updated, and maintained in real time based upon one or more sources of feedback, such as sensors providing information on patient responsiveness, patient cardiovascular conditions, patient pain levels, and clinician inputs. As the system proposes new or modified drug delivery conditions based upon demographic information and real time feedback, clinicians may review and accept or refuse the proposed changes.

  • Patent number: 9129457
Abstract: An electronic door lock mounts to a door and includes an inner side and an outer side. The electronic door lock is operable to control access to an access controlled area positioned adjacent the inner side of the door. The electronic door lock includes an outer base connected to the outer side of the door, an inner base connected to the inner side of the door, a locking mechanism coupled to the door and movable between a locked position and an unlocked position in response to a control signal, and a control circuit disposed within the inner base and operable to generate the control signal in response to an input credential. An attachment interface is at least partially formed as part of the outer base.

  • Patent number: 5373934
Abstract: A bottle-gripping insert element is configured for detachable mounting in respective association with a bottle-receiving pocket of a star wheel of a bottle-handling apparatus. The insert element is formed from elastomeric material, and is dimensioned for interfering engagement with associated bottles dimensioned in accordance with normal manufacturing tolerances. The bottle-gripping insert element is preferably provided with a plurality of generally vertically extending gripping ribs for enhanced frictional engagement with associated bottles.

  • Patent number: 4940298
Abstract: A plastic dishwasher tub and support structure is disclosed. A single piece is formed into a rear frame that attaches to the door frame of the dishwasher. The rear frame is in an inverted U-shape with arms formed by bending a portion of the legs of the U out of the plane of the U. The bight of the U supports the rear of the tub while the arms attach to the door frame and serve as skids for the dishwasher. The plastic tub is formed with integral reinforcing ribs on the tub portion to bear against the rear frame. In addition, retention blocks are cantilevered from the tub bottom to extend below the reinforcing ribs. The bight of the rear frame sides into the space between the blocks and ribs during assembly and prevents up and down and fore and aft movement of the tub with respect to the frame. Strips are placed on the jambs of the door frame astride the counterbalance levers on the door. These strips limit the travel of the door in the open position.

  • Patent number: 4819405
Abstract: An opaque cladding panel for incorporation in a fully-glazed facade of a building comprises an outer glass sheet which is separated from an opaque backing sheet by a peripheral spacer, there being provided at least one venting aperture to ventilate the interspace between the glass sheet and the opaque backing sheet. The glass sheet is optionally coated on its inner surface with a coating, such as a semi-reflective coating. The provision of the at least one venting aperture ventilates the interspace and thereby reduces or avoids condensation in the interspace which would degrade the coating on the glass sheet.

  • Patent number: 4502962
Abstract: A hydrocarbon solvent-based dispersant formulation which combines heavy oil penetrability, activity on oil spills on either fresh or salt water, and the density and viscosity required for controllable aerial spray application is provided by the combination of sorbitan monoesters of C.sub.10 -C.sub.20 aliphatic carboxylic acids and polyoxyalkylene adducts thereof, polyoxyalkylene adducts of sorbitan triesters of C.sub.10 -C.sub.20 aliphatic carboxylic acids, and a water-dispersible salt of a dialkyl sulfosuccinate dissolved in an isoparaffinic hydrocarbon. The addition of a viscosity modifying solvent may be advantageous for adjusting the formulation to needs of specific aerial application procedures.
