  • Patent number: 8667569
Abstract: An encrypted file is decrypted to gain access to a stored hash value for a credentials setting component. A test hash value of the credentials setting component is formed. Before decrypting a set of encrypted credentials to form decrypted credentials, it is required that the test hash value of the credentials setting component match the stored hash value of the credentials setting component. The decrypted credentials are then passed to the credentials setting component to set credentials that instructions are to be executed under.

  • Patent number: 4990757
Abstract: Method and apparatus for storage and retrieval of vehicles, particularly in parking lots surrounding shopping malls, airports, stadiums and the like is disclosed. The method includes identification of the vehicle owner and the stored vehicle with a common code utilizing a two part identifier. The first part of the identifier is used to imprint an identifying code on the vehicle owner and is also attached to the vehicle while it is stored. The second part of the identifier with the same code is attached to the vehicle's keys which are kept in a secure facility. The vehicle's description and location in the parking lot is recorded on the second part and is also inputed to a central computer which maintains data on each vehicle stored. When the vehicle owner wants to retrieve his or her vehicle, the code inprinted on the owner is read and transmitted to the area where the vehicle is stored along with the location where the vehicle is to be delivered.

  • Patent number: 4908466
Abstract: A process and reaction vessel for producing alkyl nitrite is disclosed the process comprising (a) contacting nitric oxide, lower alcohol and oxygen in a reaction zone such that alkyl nitrite is formed, said reaction zone comprising a reactor section and a rectification section, (b) supplying a liquid scrubbing agent to an upper portion of the rectification section, (c) withdrawing a gaseous alkyl nitrite product stream from the upper portion of the rectification section, and (d) withdrawing a liquid stream from a lower portion of the reactor section. The reactor section provides intimate vapor-liquid contact sufficient to enhance the conversion of nitric oxide to alkyl nitrite and the rectification section provides sufficient vapor residence time to enhance conversion of oxygen, as well as sufficient rectification capabilities to reduce the amounts of water and nitric acid in the gaseous alkyl nitrite product stream.

  • Patent number: 4906262
Abstract: A self cleaning rotary screen of an agricultural combine is provided with a planar circular screen that is secured to an outwardly extending circular flange having an external groove and an internal groove. The screen is rotatably coupled to a pivotable door by a plurality of freely rotatable wheels which engage the internal groove of the flange. Also secured to the door are two freely rotatable idler sheaves located adjacent to the pivot axis of the door so that the centerpoint of the endless belt when coupled to the outer periphery of the sheaves forms a tangent axis that is substantially aligned with the pivot axis of the door. A driving sheave is operatively coupled to the propulsion system of the combine and is provided with a central rotational axis that intersects the tangent axis of the idler sheaves.
