    Abstract: A composite valving rod is provided for use in a foam dispensing apparatus having a low friction plastic sleeve portion that is retained by a steel tip which both maintains the physical dimensions of the plastic sleeve and serves as a scraper when drawn through the bore of the foam dispensing cartridge. The cartridge is all metal.
