  • Publication number: 20240140349
Abstract: An assembly includes a dash and a deployable panel supported by the dash. The deployable panel is moveable relative to the dash from an undeployed position to a deployed position. The deployable panel has a proximal end at the dash in the deployed position and a distal end spaced above the dash in the deployed position. An airbag is supported by the dash and is inflatable to an inflated position. The airbag abuts the deployable panel when the deployable panel is in the deployed position and the airbag is in the inflated position. A tether extends from the airbag to the deployable panel in the undeployed position.

  • Patent number: 7473677
Abstract: The present invention provides a process for the production of an alkylphenol ethoxylate involving charging a portion of product from a previous preparation (a “heel”) or an ethoxylate to a reactor, optionally, charging from about 0.2 wt. % to an amount equal to or greater than the weight of the heel of an alkylphenol starter to the reactor, charging ethylene oxide to activate a double metal cyanide (“DMC”) catalyst, adding the alkylphenol starter simultaneously with ethylene oxide for a portion of the process and continuing ethylene oxide addition following completion of the simultaneous alkylphenol starter and ethylene oxide addition. The process of the present invention provides significant improvements in cycle time and safety in producing ethoxylates which may find use in or as surfactants.

  • Patent number: 6049776
Abstract: A Resource Management System (RMS) including an RMS server having an RMS database containing files storing information on employees, employee skills, employee schedules and projects. The information in the files of the RMS database is obtained from external corporate databases as well as from direct entry. Calendar functionality is included for maintaining the scheduled activities of employees with different types of scheduled activities differently highlighted on a calendar display. Resource search and scheduling functionality is provided that identifies human resources possessing the required skills and availabilities for assignments to projects. Project parameters such as time requirements, skill requirements and proficiency levels are entered as parameters for defining the search. Assignment functionality assigns the identified employees to the projects and updates the system calendar to reflect the project assignments.

  • Patent number: 5183074
Abstract: There is disclosed a pilot operated pressure-reducing valve system incorporating a main valve and a pilot valve, the latter being either near or remote from the main valve. The pilot and main valves cooperate with each other in such manner that the main valve will close very rapidly, this being important in aircraft fueling systems for example. Two related poppets are provided in the pilot valve, one such poppet being adapted to permit high flow for achievement of the substantially instantaneous main valve closure.

  • Patent number: 4696321
Abstract: A combined air release and vacuum breaker valve for pipelines has a ball float that acts directly upon both the vacuum breaker and air release valves which are concentric with one another and axially aligned with the ball float. To avoid adverse effects of high velocity flow of water into the float chamber, which tends to initially counteract buoyancy of the ball, a flow disturbing screen is connected to the lower end of the ball. The direct acting ball is connected to the pressure release valve member by means of a resilient lost motion connection, so that slight bouncing of the ball caused by turbulent flow in adjacent areas of the pipeline will not cause the air release valve member to bounce on and off its seat.
